For those of you who don’t know KCS has merged with FH Furr hvac.I didn’t realize this until the day before my appointment. I’ve been loyal to KCS with a few properties and really liked the services and the prices that they offer.Clark has been to a few of my properties a few times and he is one of the reasons that we’ve been with KCS. Having been through a business merger myself, they can be a challenging and things fall through the cracks , and this was no exception.I was on the phone no less than 7 times for 2 property visits ( semi annual maintenance checks) scheduled for the same day . I had made the appointments 6 weeks ago and their scheduling department had things confused. Again, with the mergerit was like two different companies trying to operator under one umbrella, so I’m sure it will take time to shake out but nonetheless, it was a time-consuming day just following up with the timelines of the appointments.

I couldn’t say enough positive things about this company from the first time that I called All the way up to the time of service and after. Lindsay and Neil answered every single question that I had about a AC unit and they quoted me with a very reasonable price. Nothing outrageous I had been quoted by two other companies before finding them.I am so glad that we went with them. Their urgency, honesty and communication was top-notch. Carlos and Vass came out to my house. These two guys were such gentlemen they made sure that nothing got on my carpet by putting a protected sheet down, and communicated everything to me that they were doing.I would highly recommend using KCS They are phenomenal.

I needed to replace my ground floor HVAC system which was both Propane and A/C. KCS came in and gave us good options - but to be realistic, they did what any good company would have done.But during the install they had to deal with the reality of my house. Old and with some curious building styles they had to deal with - and they came through in a big way. Part of my house dates to the late 1800s and part of it from the 1980s. And the 1980s quality is pretty suspect. They worked all day, non-stop, to deliver a high quality install. On this nearly 100 degree "spring" day, I'm glad I went with them. They had the resources, skills, and staffing to deal with a problematic install. And we are very happy with the result.

Purchased a mini-split for my basement renovation when these folks came to my rescue after 3 other companies flaked out on me. I can't say enough good things about these folks. The experience and thoughtfulness of their work is terrific. They work with you and answer all your questions and offer advice to help make decisions when you're getting your system modified, installed or repaired. Very prompt service, they're clean and efficient at what they do. They don't try to sell you something you don't need. They are my new HVAC company for my house!

KCS is awesome! I highly recommend their services. They installed a new boiler for radiant heat, replacing my 1991 boiler. KCS went above and beyond! After extensive research and interviewing many HVAC companies, I chose KCS Heating and Air because they had reasonable pricing and provided the most knowledgeable estimator in my shopping process. KCS put a high efficiency system that qualified for a $2000 tax credit, as well as a $650 rebate. I ended up with a better system than i could have imagined at a better price than I anticipated. Do yourself a favor and give these guys a call.

They were a life saver!!! It’s the week of Christmas and our heat goes out! But they didn’t immediately go for the highest cost option. They came out multiple times, off hours and weekends, tried to repair, gave us options, and kept checking in to see how things were going. That type of care and service doesn’t happen often anymore. When we realized that our 20+ year old system couldn’t be repaired, we were provided with a replacement alternative that fit our budget & promptly got the heat up and running again. Our AC went out the other night and the inside of our house was 79° by 9 PM. We contacted kcs heating and air and immediately got an appointment for the next day. Andrew-our repairman showed up promptly and diagnosed what was wrong. Within 40 minutes he was able to fix the problem and the house was cooling again. My Daughter recommended KCS. She had her system replaced and when the time for my A/C replacement I gave them a call. The phone representative was easy to understand and quickly set up my appointment. The Estimator came out and after discussing my issues with my existing system we agreed to work up an estimate on a new A/C system that included a zone for the main floor and a separate zone for the upstairs. He then told me that he would have the estimate possibly later that day (Friday) or no later than Monday. Unfortunately the estimate didn't arrive until after I called on back on Tuesday. The pricing seemed reasonable to me and I requested the replacement. I paid a deposit and was told that the parts would arrive in approximately two weeks. The parts took a little longer and the installation was scheduled for a date that ended up being about three weeks after I paid the deposit. On the installation day the crew arrived on time and started to work immediately. The installers were courteous and respectful of my home. I can't really judge if the installation took too long but the crew seemed to work non stop. There were a few bits of metal work scraps that were left behind after the crew had cleaned up but not enough to complain about.After the installation the unit seemed to work well but it was almost at the end of the cooling season. We have now had the system during some of the hottest days of the year and have had no issues. The Zone setup has balanced the temperature between the two floors and I can't imagine it could work any better. Overall I am quite satisfied with the work performed and all of the interactions with the KCS personnel.
