He did an excellent job of explaining the differences between many varieties of red and white wines depending on their region of origin, climate, or the wine-making process. I had Van come for a girls night wine experience. Prior to the night, he had asked exactly what I had in mind, wines I enjoyed, and a spirit I favored. He picked some phenomenal wines and made a very tasty cocktail. He was prompt and organized. He moved through the night effortlessly, not pushy on time, or abruptly interrupting our constant chatter. He was very knowledgeable about each wine and everything we asked about wine. We all had a great time! Less
