I had been experiencing hip pain in both hips for two years. After asking around getting recommendations for the best hip doctor in the area, Dr. Evanson's name kept coming up. People kept mentioning him as not just one of the best hip specialists in North Texas or Texas but one of the best hip surgeons in the country. If my experience in having both hips replaced six weeks apart is any indication, I would definitely agree. The entire process, from initial X-rays and diagnosis through the second replacement was extremely professional with zero stress. His PA, Kris Holmes, handles most of the patient prep work prior to surgery. Kris has a great, patient-friendly style and is very knowledgable about the entire process. It was very easy. The actual surgery and recovery was much more pain free than I had anticipated. I was able to walk around the house that afternoon. I am well on the way to full recovery and will be out walking 18 holes of golf and enjoying pain free workouts in no time.I highly recommend Dr Evanson and staff! 10/10.
