Essentially, Dr. Evanson saved my life. I saw him 10 months after a full hip arthroplasty performed by another surgeon. Dr. Evanson immediately recognized I had several issues. My implant was the wrong size, my implant was making my leg was 2 cm shorter than it should be and, the implant was installed incorrectly. He ordered tests that confirmed his diagnosis and I was in surgery for review within two weeks. Unfortunately, he discovered an acute infection in my femur which required a temporary spacer be installed. Under Dr. Evanson’s care I recovered fully and he successfully performed a final revision after all signs of infection were gone. I was up and walking within three and a half days after surgery without assistance from a cane or walker. It is now 5 weeks post op and I am walking two miles at a time and able going up the stairs to our fourth floor apartment with ease. I have a totally positive prognosis. I highly recommend Dr. Evanson to anyone who asks me.

Dr. Richard Evanson has replaced both of my hips. He and his team are experienced, very competent and flexible. Their protocol, consisting of diet, pre/post medication before, during and following the procedure was a “difference-maker.” Dr. Evanson diagnosed my pain very quickly. So quickly, in fact, that I wasn’t sure he was right. Dr. Evanson was patient with me. He prescribed physical therapy which confirmed the diagnosis. I have full confidence in Dr. Evanson, and can highly recommend him. He and his team are very good at what they do.

Dr Evanson did on me on March 23, 2026, a Total Knee Replacement. The recovery has been excellent. In 4 months, following his instructions, I’m totally recovered. The scarf is practically invisible. I’m very satisfied with him and his assistant. Dr Evanson explained to me very well all the procedure and answer all the questions that I had in a very professional way. I highly recommend him and I want to add that during my recovery he was always available for any concern or questions.

I have so much respect for Dr. Evanson & his PA CHRIS. They actually care about their patients. I have been treated like gold. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for knee problems. Dr. Evanson & Chris make a great team together.
