Dr. Evanson and his team are fantastic. I am now six months post my hip replacement surgery and just finished 2 weeks of hiking 4-7 miles a day in southern Utah with moderate/hard hikes. Not only is my hip fully functional but 2 days ago I ran the last 1/4 mile of the trail. It felt great no pain and I felt like I was 18 years old again. I haven't run in over two years. I am 60 years old and had bone on bone issues at my hip from an old martial arts injury and spent almost 1.5 trouble shooting what the issue was. I had an ex-ray in early February this year that showed my hip issues and that I needed surgery. My orthopedic surgeon was not comfortable using the direct interior approach due to my size and he recommend Dr Evanson. Due to my work and travel schedule I had a tight timeframe for my desired surgery date. Dr Evanson and his staff (Even his assistant Kris) are absolutely amazing!! I had a PAO and labrum repaired June 2023. Dr. Evanson had me prepared prior to my surgery and gave me info I needed to research before I made my decision to have the surgery. I am 42 and for 16 years my hip hurt to walk and it got to the point it was almost unbearable to put any weight on it. Over the 16 years I went to multiple orthopedics and never got a diagnosis or they said it was something else. Dr. Evanson was the first doctor who diagnosed me with hip dysplasia. It's been about 14 months now and my hip feels great!! They have always been there for me through these last 14 months even for the silly, I am just curious questions. I can walk without dragging my leg and I don't want to cry every step I take and now I can walk fast (my family is like slow down 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️). I don't regret having the surgery and I am grateful for the orthopedic doctor in my home town who referred me to Dr. Evanson. I would highly recommend him even if you have to make a drive to see him. I went to Dr. Evanson for unilateral primary osteoarthritis. The office, X Ray & medical staff were organized, professional and warm. Dr. Evanson was attentive, explained everything clearly, and provided relief for the short term with recommendations for long term. Normally I don’t care for doctors due to past experience. I am so happy I selected this facility and Dr.E. I can tell the care going forward will give me back my quality of life. I had a steroid shot yesterday and for the first time in over a year I feel no pain. Eventually I’ll have a knee replacement, but I am very grateful for the relief they provided! Less
