Do not waste your time with any other Mexican restaurant—El Toro is the real deal! The chips and salsa are amazing, and hands down the best quesadilla I’ve ever had.Dan keeps you laughing the whole time too. I’m still trying to figure out if he works there or just shows up to entertain people 😂. Either way, the food and experience were awesome.We’ll definitely be back!

This is the place to go! My 9 year old son and I went on a Taco Tuesday and they were SUPER friendly to him, remembering his name and interacting friendly with him, but the staff culture seemed great and their service was really amazing! Not to mention the food was also REALLY GOOD! I got the Monterey.

This is the best Mexican place in town! The chips and salsa are to die for and the margaritas will keep you coming back! The football special menu is amazing! The Cuban is so moist and flavorful and the pizza rolls are nostalgic and cheesy! Worth the visit!

I went Monday night for a fantasy draft! Service was great. Food amazing. Every time I come in town I make sure to hit El Toro Bravo for lunch or dinner … and I’m not ashamed sometime both!! Chili is amazing. I know it’s won some local contests! My favorite dish are the fajitas. Favorite app is queso w meat sauce and the chili.

First time at El Toro Bravo but certainly no the last. Start with the chips and salsa… crisp chips with a perfectly spiced salsa..really one of the best I have had and I’ve had a lot. I was there for lunch and had their beef chimichanga special which was a fabulous presentation with melted cheese on top served on request with both red and green sauces. The chimi was surrounded on both sides with fresh greens with a generous dollop of guacamole and a sufficient amount of sour cream. At first, I thought it was going to be way too much for me to each but I admit that I did eat it all. Just couldn’t stop it was so good. Good wait staff and restaurant seems clean and about as inviting as a good Mexican restaurant can be.I live about 45 minutes from the restaurant but it will be worth the drive to come back as I had my eye on the chili rellano plate at a near by table. This Sarasota restaurant seems to have won several local awards and you can see why after dining here.
