We had a lovely experience with Miguel and his team. Our backyard was a jungle on a steep slope, and we wanted to make the space useable and safe for our two young kids. They cleaned up all the growth in about 2 days and then replaced it with 4 retaining walls, 3 staircases, and multiple railings, paths, and gates. Before and after pics attached.The whole process was very quick and efficient, only about two months from my first message to final walk through. Miguel is very responsive, and we were spoke onsite often to discuss plans and ideas. There were multiple men working almost every day for several weeks, and they were all very cordial and professional. They found a bird nest in one of our pots which was fun to show the kids and watch the birds hatch. I also really appreciate their attention to health concerns -- they notified me of a large rats nest they found in the fence, as well as pointed out a location where they had found and removed poison oak.Overall, it was a very positive experience working with Santos Landscaping. Miguel and the Santos crew have done yard clean up, weeding, trimming, hauling several times over the past few years for me. I’ve also recommended them to a few of my neighbors, we’ve all been very happy with their work which is very prompt and thorough, including clean up. Miguel and the team are very responsive and courteous. I took the plunge and had them replace two fences on my property that had 40+ year old ivy that had taken over the fences. The project was challenging but they managed it perfectly and built two beautiful strong fences that almost look like fine furniture. I highly recommend Miguel and the Santos crew. Miguel showed up on time for the estimate, made great suggestions and provided me with a quote in a timely fashion. He was professional and courteous. His team showed up on time on the specified date and went to work quickly, completing the job in spite of a rainstorm. I was out of town, but Miguel kept me informed via text with photos and videos of the work. He asked for my opinion when questions arose. He devised a solution to squirrels chewing through the main drip-line conduits that I am hopeful with hold the critters at bay for a while.I recommend this company for their timeliness, their professionalism and their attention to detail. Miguel Santos was quick to respond and gave a quote based on a photo I sent (of a big pile of old lumber, a shed we demolished, and random other junk). His quote was half of another quote we received - and he was a good communicator - responding to text, email, and phone as needed. He was able to do the job one day after I contacted him. He let me know when he was going to arrive, and he and his crew had everything removed in under half an hour. It was like a miracle! Crap that had been in the yard for years - gone.
