Approximately 4 years ago, I had a laminate floor installed by Precision Flooring. Ultimately, sections of the floor failed. Precision Flooring came out and agreed that the material was defective, but that particular item was no longer available. Precision honored their work and the product and replaced the entire floor for me, standing by their workmanship and reputation. I highly recommend Precision, a local and family run business

I loved working with Precision Floors to put hardwood flooring in my entire house. Much of the work was done while I was away but they kept in close communication with me and I always knew what was going on. Each of the people I interacted with - primarily Rick, Marcus, Raymond - were all very responsive and helpful. The floors are gorgeous - a beautiful walnut floor that completely changed my home. The walnut is a little soft, which I had been warned about, and scratches more easily than I would like. When I mentioned that to Precision Floors, they contacted the manufacturer and thoroughly followed-up on treatment for the floors.The team also completely facilitated replacing the tile under my gas fireplace, which involved lengthening the gas pipe and moving an electrical outlet. They did a superb job.Altogether, I had a wonderful experience with Precision Floors and highly recommend that other Truckee-ites support this wonderful local business!

Friendly, professional and fast. The owner Rick is a general contractor and he is very knowledgeable. They remodeled my house in Tahoe two years ago and it came out amazing! To property owners with hardwood floors, it’s very important to keep the humidity of the house due to the dryness of the Tahoe area especially in winter. I recently reused Precision Flooring for my Reno property due to my past positive experience with them. They also have a good variety of product lines to choose from. What a beautiful work they’ve done. I’ve attached some pictures of both the two projects they’ve done. Can’t be happier 🙏

We were very happy with all aspects of interaction with Precision Flooring. As their name suggests, their attention to detail was impressive. They even managed to cut the contour of the flooring to match our fireplace. Their initial bid was a bit high but we negotiated to a better price for us with no apparent effect on the quality of work.

We had Precision Flooring provide our contractor with carpet and flooring for a cabin remodel. Communication throughout the quoting exercise was great, although there were a couple of hidden charges that we went back-and-forth on. The actual amount of carpet and flooring ordered by their estimator was significantly in excess of what we needed, but after some discussion the company owned their mistake and took back the excess material (which is definitely not the typical practice for carpet...). Some hiccups along the way, but a generally constructive experience and it's nice to be able to give business to a local, family-owned outfit. I'd give them my business again.

Precision Flooring is awesome! I had a terrible experience with Best Hardwood flooring in Reno, they didn't come through and ordered the wrong material, which set my remodel and move in back a couple weeks. I rushed downed to Precision Flooring; they got may material in a week and installed 1-2 days later. Thank you very much!
