I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Solar ME and share my story to help others. When I began my solar journey, I went with a national company I found online. Unfortunately, they didn’t handle the installations themselves but relied on third-party contractors. Everything seemed fine until the company I purchased my system from filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy—after completing 90% of the installation and receiving full payment. At that point, I had all the equipment but no way to activate the system. I managed to navigate the process with my township and electric company to finally get it running. However, within weeks, I started encountering multiple issues. Turning to the manufacturer’s website for guidance, I found a list of certified solar companies. After calling several, most of them refused to work on systems they didn’t install—except for Solar ME. From the very first call, Solar ME was professional and helpful. They dispatched a technician the next day to assess my system. The immediate issue was resolved quickly, but during their inspection, they uncovered deeper problems caused by the original installation: The panels were installed incorrectly, with improper brackets. The electrical connections weren’t covered, allowing rain to cause frequent system outages. The panels weren’t labeled properly. Thanks to Solar ME, my system is now working as it should. Believe all the 5 star reviews! They are real. SolarMe just finished up my project. I had been looking at solar for many years and a friend told me about SolarMe and said look no further. I reached out and Brian from SolarMe came over and spent extremely generous amounts of his time both at my home and on the phone as well as email answering my many questions. He continues to answer any questions I have post install as we finalize PTO and SREC setup. He's fantastic. I contracted SolarMe to not only install Solar but also my new roof as my old one was over 20 years old and would not survive the life of the panels and required replacement. The roofing contractor was top notch. I'd recommend without hesitation to anyone. The installation crews were the most friendly, hard working and knowledgeable workers. I was thoroughly impressed. They did a great job on the panel mounts and all the electrical work required inside the home as well. I ended up choosing Canadian Solar all black panels which look really nice and sleek. SolarMe is a company with a a great team from sales, to installers to the back office and owner. I could not be happier with my selection. I strongly recommend Solar Me as a provider of solar panels. At the start, they were really thoughtful about the plan and the best configuration to optimize potential energy to my home. The installation was done professionally. And now that we’ve had the solar panels for a few years the outcome has been nothing but beneficial.
