Matt has been a wonderful trainer for our dog, Theo. We did a week with Matt and have had a few follow up lessons with us, which have been SO helpful. Theo is behaving better in the home and out on walks since starting with Matt, which has been a huge stress relief for us and Theo. We highly recommend Matt!

May 2, 2025Matt Noone is truly a 5 star dog trainer! Our two Cotons (now 4 years old) were a total problem, barking all the time and at nothing! Now we can walk with them and they behave upon meeting dogs, people or cars! We could not be happier! We had 3 trainers before Matt and they were all unsuccessful in trying to correct the dogs'poor behavior. Now, it's a treat to take them on walks and to have them behave when at home. The dogs love Matt too! This is because he brings intelligence and care in teaching behavior modification. The training is not about obedience training which is quite different.

Matt is an unbelievably talented dog trainer. It shows in everything he does that he truly loves his job and approaches it with the utmost professionalism and care. My dog was in a lot of trouble for chasing and biting bicyclists... Matt understood the severityy of the situation and the possibility of being removed from our home.was in to being removed from our home.His determination to break her of her bad habits worked wonders, bringing her home a "trained" dog. I also really appreciated that he knew the importance of making sure I understood how to continue her training at home. I am eternally grateful to Matt and his excellent dog training services.

I reached out to Matt when my partner and I were looking for dog trainers for our rescue. Matt called me almost immediately after filling out the online form and I spoke with him about what we were experiencing with our dog (barking, growing and lunging at unknown people). He spoke with me and helped me understand where the behaviors are coming from and we were able to get our pup in very quickly to train with Matt. Matt was professional and went above and beyond to make sure that our dog was getting the proper training and every day Matt came back and explained to us what was achieved each day. Our dog, Theo, has been nothing but a sweetheart since training with Matt. He has done a complete 180 in terms of his behavior and I will always recommend Matt to anyone looking to get their dog trained! Thank you again Matt!

Matt is a wonderful dog trainer! I was very close to having to return my rescue dog to the shelter from where I got her. She’s the sweetest dog but she had many behavior issues. She had been raised outside for her first five months so had absolutely no indoor experience or manners. Matt talked me through everything, was so patient with Nugget and me and helped build a strong bond between us. He truly loves dogs, they are his whole world. He picked her up and dropped her off when he said he would, he’s very reliable. He taught her all the basic commands as well as how to come when called when off leash, how to behave on a leash, impulse control, got me through the house training process and taught her how to socialize with other dogs. I can honestly say that I wouldn’t have been able to keep Nugget if it weren’t for Matt!

Matt is fantastic and the best of the best when it comes to dogs and training. You can tell he truly loves the dogs and wants to help them and their owners both throughout the training process. He is also very communicative and knowledgeable and the pickup/dropoff service is so convenient. I can't speak highly enough about this service! Like no other trainer we have experienced - OUTSTANDING! Matt was such a blessing. His knowledge is mind-blowing and the way he explains things, perfect. We were ready to give up on our dog when we found him. We signed up for a 2 week intensive and boy did Matt change her. The biggest lesson for us - the difference between obedience and behavior. So glad we found Positive Dog Training Cape Cod!
