It was my first ever round of golf at this course today, purchased the players card for RR/Siena at $319 for five rounds of golf. Totally disappointed with my golfing experience at this course, driving range balls were terrible, the practice ground was lumpy and large patches of crabgrass. The golf course appears to have either been flooded by the maintenance crews who were working on a lot of the holes irrigation systems or maybe the fairways had a fungus and mud holes. The tee boxes were lumpy, uneven and often the par 3 tee boxes were impossible to push a tee into the ground I had to tee off on the ground. The teeing grounds are suppose to be level to give you a fair chance at playing the tee shot. The your tee shots were plugging and a high shot short of the green resulted in a golf ball plugging 6" deep in a mud hole next to the green. The bunkers all had water puddles in them and rocks as big as your thumb, absolutely horrible and you can hear the rocks shooting out of the bunders like a bullet ricochet.I was thinking about going with the Mon.-Thu. unlimited play membership ($8500) but after this experience I'll be playing elsewhere and taking my money with me to boot. I wouldn't recommend playing golf here especially if you're paying $$$.
