AI Summary
Consistently praised for excellent, well-presented food, attentive friendly service, a thoughtful wine list and care for dietary needs in a cozy, relaxed setting; however it can get very busy, so booking ahead is advisable.

Called in on the off chance for lunch after noticing there was a pub in Eldersfield whilst on a bike ride. We did not have a booking and the pub was busy but they accommodated us with grace and ease. The food was superb as was the service which was attentive but not intrusive as we eat in the garden.Highly recommend- but leave space for us!

It's fair to say this place is a little off the beaten track, but it's well worth a visit. Fine dining in relaxed surroundings. Top quality and delicious food at a fair price. Friendly and professional service. Can get very busy, so make sure to book ahead.

Have visited several times, always had delicious food, thoughtful wine list and great service. I'm grateful for the careful attention to food intolerance which at once removes the usual stress and nerves from eating out.
