Legacy renovations reviewI’ll start off by saying that Jason seems like a nice standup guy and he will gain your trust. Once he has your money though he does not care about the results of the job. Maybe it’s because my project was small, but if he didn’t care to do it right he should’ve referred me to someone who would.I had water damage inside one exterior wall. The scope of the job was to cut out a section of drywall, inspect the extent of the damage, and replace any rotted frames and insulation. Then replace drywall and paint the whole wall and trim. After cutting out the drywall some of the studs were very clearly water damaged. The crew began drilling new screws in diagonally through the damaged wood, as if that would solve anything (see pictures). I immediately called Jason and he assured me the guys “would do it right” and to “let them work.” He must’ve called them because they began cutting out the damaged wood and replacing it. So if I had not been there, an actual fix would’ve never happened. I then had to step out for 2 hours and never got to see the final result of the inside of the wall. No pictures were sent to me of it after the job was finished.Then the paint was botched. Nothing was taped so the transition from wall to baseboard looked terrible. The baseboard was also not properly prepped for paint and had very uneven coloring and even high spots in some areas. I addressed this with Jason, he had the crew come back out to fix this. They fixed the transition, but the baseboard was still never prepped right and just painted over again. So the color is still uneven. I’m going to end up redoing the paint trim myself. Which is a shame, that I’m confident I can do a much better job after paying top dollar to have it done by “professionals.” In hindsight, it’s not surprising that Jason wanted the crew to do the work while I was on vacation.Edit: forgot to add that after the revisit I did address my remaining concerns to Jason and never got a response.REPLY TO OWNER RESPONSE: What a joke of a response. I never agreed to sacrifice quality for cost, or speed. My budget made doing the flooring a non starter, but never did I say “sure paint this thing half ass if it’ll save me a couple bucks.” N’or did I say “just throw some screws into the rotten wood framing that’ll be alright.” Neither of those things are acceptable. Especially without a conversation about sacrificing quality for cost, which never happened. During the initial appointment Jason gave me a range for the cost, depending on how extensive the damage ended up being. But then before he left just settled at the very top end of the range he gave me without even seeing the final scope of the job.

The legacy team did excellent work with my kitchen remodel and new flooring. I was nervous going into it because I’m so picky but it turned out better than I was hoping! The floors and new baseboards look so professional, there are no weird gaps or parts that don’t line up (even after two months!)The kitchen looks fabulous. The cabinets are all hung straight, the backsplash is perfection, nothing looks wonky or crooked. Countertop installation was smooth. The sink and disposal are beautiful and functional. The legacy team thought of things that I didn’t, like putting in the support for the floating shelves at the beginning of the project before drywall even went up.They were there every day even on Saturdays until the project was done. And NO delays! I highly recommend!

It was a great experience that far exceeded my expectations. I met with a few different companies and Jason's consistant communication and willingness to meet around my work schedule is ultimately why I went with Legacy Renovations, and I'm glad I did.Daniel and the crew started on a Monday and said my kitchen would be done early the next week. Of course I did not believe this would actually happen, but sure enough, my kitchen was done the following Tuesday. The team was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. One example - they were able to source and install under cabinet molding the same day I mentioned it even though it was not included in my qoute. That was the cherry on top for me.I would not hesitate to work with them again.

This team was amazing! They replaced a vanity for me and added a second water line. The job ended up being a bit more work than we expected with having to replace missing tiles, but they were happy to make sure that everything was done properly. In the end, I have a beautiful vanity that I love

Rarely does a service provider overdeliver on what was promised. Jason, Daniel, Ashely, and the team at Legacy Renovations just did that for us. Originally I thought their quote was high but I don’t think that anymore. They did an exceptional job that far exceeded my expectations. Everything was done on time which is also unique in today’s world.

Just wanted to write a review for Legacy Renovations we just completed our kitchen remodel where we added some cabinets with new backsplash and a new island. We chose Jason’s company for we felt we could trust him to do this project and complete it in a timely manner which they did. We thought the pricing was fair compared to other estimates we had received. The communication throughout the project was excellent. Daniel the project Mgr always went over & beyond to make sure the work got done and kept us in the loop the entire time. He helped with a few last minute changes we had requested. We had a few hiccups along the way but that’s typical during most renovations. What impressed me was the way they were handled by both Jason and Daniel. They made sure everything was done to satisfactory. And we can’t forget Ashley she was amazing as well! The fabricator they used for our countertops also gets 5 stars for customer service! Overall the experience was great and wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again. Some before and after pics. Kitchen is so much more functional and brighter now!

Amazing work!! Very pleased with how well they updated the flooring in our changing room. I didn’t get any before pictures but we had laminate flooring and needed the same floor to match throughout the building. They were great at communicating. Overall, I am very happy with their service! Highly recommend!

I was in tears at how amazing everything came out and how easy everyone was to talk to! Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. I was very excited to work with this company initially. I needed to add 9 or 10 new cabinets to my kitchen. Ashley advised me that Jason would be my sales consultant. My first impression was that Jason was warm, family-oriented, and collaborative. They were not the most economical option,, but I was willing to pay more to support what I thought was an honest and reputable small business. They requested to take one of my cabinet doors to ensure a close match. Unfortunately, there was soon a communication breakdown, which led to a change in tone. I was told of a price increase during a call about another matter and was taken aback. When I expressed hesitation, I felt pressured to make a quick decision, although I was not informed of changes in advance. Ultimately, this drove me to change direction. Despite the communication gap, I still have mostly positive feedback now that my cabinet door was returned after a short delay and having to call and request it a couple of times. Overall, it is a very unfortunate experience and outcome from my initial impression and expectations. To their credit, all members of the company remained professional and courteous throughout the experience.

Very professional interaction with owner and good interaction with contractor during the actual work. The work entailed troubleshooting to find multiple leaks in two walls. The attention to detail was impressive and the outcome everything we hopped for. I will be calling on Legacy Renovations for future repairs or remolding needs.

Water damage in our kitchen required the removal of some our kitchen cabinets and the drywall behind it. Legacy worked to find replacement cabinets that would match as best as possible to the cabinets that remained in the kitchen. It took a bit of time for the cabinets to arrive because of the custom order, but as soon as they arrived, Legacy was here installing them and working late into the evening so my family could use our kitchen again. The replacements have a couple of features that are much better than the old cabinets! Very happy with the work that was done by Legacy Renovations.
