During heavy rainstorms, water from one of our downspouts kept collecting too close to the foundation and creating muddy areas along the side of the house. We hired a gutter company to install longer downspout extensions and improve the drainage path away from the property. The project took only a few hours. Compared to before, rainwater now drains much farther from the house and the problem area stays significantly drier after storms. We also noticed less erosion near the landscaping beds. It’s a small upgrade, but it improved drainage performance immediately and helped protect the foundation long term.
