My daughter had a great experience with Westchester Prep. The tutors are knowledgeable, patient, and really take the time to understand each student’s individual needs. They explain things clearly and make challenging subjects feel much more manageable. I also appreciate how encouraging and supportive the staff is throughout the process.Westchester Prep has been a great resource for improving academic confidence and staying on track. I would definitely recommend their tutoring services to anyone looking for personalized, effective academic support. If you are looking for an English/reading/verbal ACT/SAT tutor, Jessica really helped my daughter raise her English/Reading ACT score!

We had a great experience with Jessica and Sherry for ACT/SAT tutoring and couldn't have been happier with the results! The entire staff was patient, kind, supportive, knowledgeable and flexible and all went above and beyond to help my son achieve the goals he set out for himself. They have multiple locations and online options which is super convenient as well!

I just wanted to briefly share my experience with the good folks over at Westchester Prep (as a small business owner - I fully understand the importance of reviews - so this is heartfelt and 100% accurate).Let me tell you - this is a class act operation from top to bottom. We live in Westchester and both of my children are pupils. My son for the SATs and Math & Bio and my daughter for Math and Earth Science. I have seen huge improvements academically in both of them. The tutors we use (Matt, Ed and Christian) are just outstanding. They were bright, eager, pleasant and most of importantly - kept my kids coming back. A session was never a fight - it was, oh no, will I miss my session today if something came up.As a perhaps overly educated parent my standards are demanding to say the least. My son improved almost 320 points on his SAT from his diagnostic score. That in itself, is remarkable. Next, the staff and owner are amazing (Dan and Lauren) - you get kindness, warmth, empathy, understanding, a dedicated plan, compromise, schedule flexibility and more. I don't even know where to start when I say this place is great.I need XYZ for my son and ABC for my daughter. Okay, no problem. You want Zoom. Check. You want Saturday at 10 am. Check. You want to cancel Sunday. Check. You want to up your sessions. Check. You're not crazy about this option or learning process, we'll fix it. Check. You want to skip for vacation. Check. You want to start sooner on verbal. Check. You want more prep tests. Check. You want feedback. Check. You want prompt email answers. Check.Like literally everything I asked for, they said yes or made it happen. This firm will always have a special place in our heart for helping us through what is an incredibly stressful time for students and parents.Do not hesitate, even for one second to call them. I don't know that I would expect miracles if your child is not the world's strongest student - but they will certainly try.Well done guys and thanks a million.Matt

My second review, as my daughter now earned amazing test scores after tutoring with WP. 1500+ and a perfect 800 math score! She has never been in advanced math, and this was not even a goal. WP tutors are simply extraordinary. Worth every penny and the best money we've ever spent toward college admissions. Their tutors are truly talented in teaching both the ACT and SAT. A big heartfelt thank you to everyone at Westchester Prep!!!

One of our family friends and their son recommended Westchester Prep to us. Our experience was really great with both online and in-person sessions with our son raising his SAT score by 170 points. Will and Ed were great working with Salar on scheduling (we were taking these sessions from abroad with 9hr time difference), teaching him skills and confidence to improve his scores, and keeping him accountable on the practice work assigned. Lauren and Matt were very supportive and wanted the best for Salar as he goes through a very competitive and grueling process of college applications. Highly recommend Westchester Prep!

Highly recommend Westchester Prep! Their tutors not just help students achieve high test scores, they help students grow as learners and test taker. Westchester Prep helps students build skills and confidence toward test taking and learning process.

All four of my sons had a great experience with the private math tutoring at Pleasantville Prep! The tutors know the math but more important the boys liked them. They motivated the kids by pitching the SAT or ACT as a game they could win, which was super helpful. I would never go anywhere else!

The whole team at Westchester Prep really helped to improve my son’s ACT scores with their flexibility and dedication to our common goal. Highly recommend!

Westchester Prep is a fantastic resource. I've used their services for all four of my sons, both for specific high school class tutoring and ACT prep. Thanks to the expertise and unwavering dedication of the Westchester Prep team, each of my boys was able to achieve their goal scores. I highly recommend their services to any family looking for exceptional academic support.

We have been using Westchester Prep for 4+ years. From subject matter tutors to Regents and AP reviews to ACT prep, their tutors have significantly helped all 3 of our kids.Their tutoring improved my child's ACT score 7 points (8 if you include the superscore)! The tutors quickly identified the appropriate standardized test and which areas of focus would most likely improve his score the most. They were spot on!WP is extremely professionally run. We've tried other tutors/tutoring companies over the years and nothing ever compared so we don't even bother looking elsewhere. We simply can't thank them enough!

Over the years, we have used a number of tutors and services from Westchester Prep and have always been very happy with the results. The staff is professional and responsive and really cares about what they do, and they take the time to get to know each child's specific needs and how best to help them. They are very knowledgeable on standardized testing and school curriculum, including the differences of how subjects may be taught across the local high schools. In addition to private one-on-ones, they offer small group sessions which are a great option. Their Regents and AP Review classes are also very helpful and taught by top-notch tutors. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for academic support.

We used Westchester Prep for both our boys in preparing for the SAT. Each boy ended up with scores over 1500. The tutors are patient and provided my boys with the competence and confidence to do well. We are extremely grateful for Westchester Prep and their wonderful tutors!

Great experience with my tutors. Doug and Neel are the absolute best, both super kind and friendly. They really help me a lot and make it easy for me to ask questions. Would recommend to anyone.

Pleasantville Prep (now Westchester Prep) was recommended to me, and what a great recommendation it was. It was imperative that my son increase his SAT score as the school he wanted definitely not test optional. For him the one-on-one for math and ELA was a great fit. He went from June to August and increased his score 110 points! He is now a West Point cadet and the SAT score definitely played a part.

Westchester Prep has been amazing for both of my kids. From the first informational phone to tutoring sessions, test day and post test, Dan has been available, patient, kind and an incredible resource. He avails himself and is happy to discuss the test and road to college process at length. The whole team is flexible when it comes to figuring out scheduling of tutoring sessions. My kids both liked their tutors and improved their test scores. There was plenty of opportunity to take practice tests and discuss areas of improvement. Surprisingly my kids didn’t complain about going to the tutoring sessions because they liked the tutors! They were engaging and have the ability to make teenagers feel comfortable and confident for test days. Westchester Prep provides a professional and personalized experience for that truly helped set my mind at ease!

I cannot say enough positive feedback about Westchester Prep. Their tutors are not only incredibly knowledgeable, they care and connect with your child, focusing on your child reaching their potential. Every interaction my son had was positive and he walked away feeling confident and he learnt and grew in the subject he was working on. In addition , the administration and scheduling process is seamless and professional. I am grateful for this gem of an organization.

I cannot recommend Scarsdale Prep enough. My tutors Matt and Dan were the literal best. I came to them with basically no knowledge of the SAT, and they helped me surpass my initial goal within a matter of weeks. While constantly pushing and challenging me in all the right ways, they were supportive and encouraging throughout the whole process, and always made tutoring sessions fun. Because of Scarsdale prep, SAT studying and testing became something that I genuinely enjoyed and looked forward to. I came out with a score that I originally never thought I could achieve, newfound confidence in my abilities that my tutors helped me realize, and memories of some extremely fun times during sessions. Matt and Dan, thank you so much for EVERYTHING. Never thought I’d miss SAT tutoring sessions, but I most certainly do.

I used Westchester Prep for an AP Chemistry tutor for my child. Anna was great. My child really liked her and the tutoring helped. A in the class and a 5 on the AP exam. I highly recommend Westchester Prep for any service.

I highly recommend Westchester Prep whether it’s for private tutoring for the SAT or a study group for Regent and AP exams. Westchester Prep has fabulous tutors who genuinely show an interest in your child’s success!

Both my children and I had an excellent experience with Westchester Prep. The prompt communication and ability to schedule individualized tutoring for ACT prep was so appreciated. The approach of taking the test first to find out strengths and areas to work on saved lots of time. The tutors are engaged, kind and truly care about your child’s success. A supportive environment all the way.
