The whole evening was an outstanding experience. Corinna shares her passion for the industry woven in stories of the history and process of crafting tequila and other mezcals. The tastings from high quality, small batch producers paired with unique Mexican dishes opened our eyes to the versatility and sophistication of tequila. Not just for shots or mixing but great for sipping with a satisfying long finish. Highly recommended.!

I used to think tequila was only a hard liquor that’s tasteless and people used it to get drunk with. I was so wrong!! Tequila is very sophisticated, a lot like wine and pairs so well with different foods and has a depth of flavour. Corrina explains beautifully the complexity of tequila and the time honoured traditions of how it is made. I have a new respect for tequila. Thank you Corrina.

The tequila was delicious, the food was incredible. I learned so much about that tequila in those four hours. Now I show my friends how to swirl and sniff before taking the first sip :)

We arranged for a group of 6 friends to do this tasting as one of our activities to celebrate my partner's birthday. I don't drink, but was still accomodated a delicious agave drink. Plus, there was meant to be food, so I didn't feel like I would've been completely left out. As a non-drinker, I thought the educational portion was thorough and enlightening. I learned so much about the tequila-making process, along with the best way to take it in (base, body, bouquet!). I was so impressed with the food. There was a variety of flavours and filling portions. The chef was accommodating, and we felt like we were treated to a complete restaurant meal. We were given the impression that the portion size of the food was only a sampling, so we expected to reserve a dinner elsewhere afterwards. We opted for the 6-course pairing, and by the end we were so full we cancelled our restaurant reservation.

We spent a pleasant and interesting afternoon with Corinna who taught us the finer points of good tequila. In a lovely tucked away spot that felt like it could have been at a friend’s hacienda, we learned about the history and the making of tequila. We sampled 4 artisanal tequilas (plus a bonus small batch aged - an optional pour for a small fee). Each were paired with 2 different handmade chocolates, curated for showing how food impacts/compliments the flavor profile of the tequila. These were not shots to be slammed back past your tastebuds with some salt and lime, but fine liquor to be savoured. It was apparent that our friendly host took pleasure in imparting the knowledge that she and her husband had gleaned over the years. Corinna’s tour had been recommended to us by friends, and we are so happy that we took their advice. We would easily return for one of her other tours.

Fantastic! Signed up thinking it would be cool to do a tequila tasting and ended up getting a full immersion into the history of tequila, plus a visual and virtual look at how it’s made. We’ll definitely be back for their other tours and highly recommend it!

We had an excellent Raicilla Tasting Tour. Corinna was very informative, covering time, location, and details. The two distilleries were terrific, not only for hearing the history behind the land, agave, and processes, but also for the tasting itself, which was a real treasure! Both Greg and Caudia (each location) were excellent! We started with Pastries to start the tour, and a fantastic lunch in between made for a fabulous time with our group.
