The sitwell arms is a good place to visit you can stay in its many rooms you can get married there and have your reception they also have a gym and sauna we have been visiting for many yrs to the resturant and watched it grow and have always found it a very good place absolute well worth a visit it comes highly recomended

We went to the Wild Boar Lounge for Sunday Lunch.Food was fine, nothing exceptional. Certainly red hot. What we didn't get is the insistence to provide a tiny size dinner plate, need to tower the food up in the centre and then there be absolutely no way any sane customer could possibly eat it without it falling all off the edge and onto the table.The Sunday lunch also came with an addition of cauliflower cheese and jug of gravy. Sadly, due to the plate sizing none of us were able to wet the rather dry yorkshire puddings with lashing of gravy.As with many places this year, once the food came out the table was harassed by several flies. Nothing the restaurant can do though - just one of those things.We only saw one poor chap running around serving in the lounge and another behind the bar. Which for a Sunday lunch service felt a little odd.That said we would probably go back as it is one of the few places locally we can all get to without issue of parking.

Staying overnight for my son and daughter in law's wedding was fabulous. Rooms are lovely, staff very helpful and the breakfast was fantastic. Beautiful venue for a wedding. Everything was perfect, the food was delicious and the staff were fantastic A++++++

Had a lovely afternoon tea here yesterday. We were shown to our table promptly and it was set beautifully. Drinks orders taken and the afternoon tea soon arrived. Freshly made sandwiches, lovely warmed scones with jam and clotted cream and then macarons, Eton mess, chocolate brownie and lemon drizzle cake! Lovely atmosphere and 5 stars to the young guy who served, he was doing so well looking after everyone on a very hot day. Thank you all
