After many years of self directed traveling, this first experience with a planned group bus tour exceeded our expectations. Every detail was smoothly carried out . Travel Concepts Chris & Kelly planned opportunities we would not have managed on our own: a private dinner at the very top of the Titanic Museum, a chance to learn all about how dogs are trained to herd sheep, the history of The Troubles, seeing the incredibly beautiful Irish countryside etc. The booking included an opportunity to see Ireland through the eyes of the Celtic Tenors whose music greatly enriched the entire experience. I’ve traveled using Travel Concepts for at least 10 years. Kelly and Chris are always responsive, organized and on top of planning for my trips. Recently the morning of an international trip I was notified that my flight had been canceled. While I’m across the country from Kelly, she responded to my frantic email, and kept in touch reassuring me after communicating with the tour company who booked the flights that they were on top of things and would issue new flights. CAUTION: CRYING AHEAD! After I enjoyed our last concert and ate my last meal, it was time to say goodbye. Cue the tears. Along with others who were part of The Celtic Tenors' Homecoming Tour, I shed tears and more tears--happy and sad tears. I think I speak for all of us when I say that we were happy to have spent time together learning about and exploring places in Ireland as seen through through the eyes of those who live and work there; we were sad that our time had, for now, come to an end. James, Daryl, and Matthew provided an incredible experience not only with their wonderfully eclectic music but also with their ability to go straight for the heart. Bill and I had toured southern cities and sites of Ireland several years before, but the Celtic Tenor's Homecoming Tour was the best tour we've had in years! The trip was planned beautifully, from excellent comfortable transportation and accommodations, to remarkably friendly and knowledgeable drivers and guides. The thing that made the tour most special was the opportunity to get to know Daryl, Matthew, and James as wonderful human beings as well as talented musicians. We have never traveled with more friendly, interesting, and lively companions!
