My experience with Jon and his team at PRS was exceptional. I had my roof replaced and insulation installed, along with some other additions and improvements to the roof. It's always worrying when moving forward with such a big project because there are a lot of cowboys out there, but from my first meeting with Jon I was assured that he was the man for the job! I had an architect draw up some plans, but this was completely unnecessary in the end because when I explained what I wanted doing to Jon, he immediately recommended a plan of action that was identical to the architect's plans. I can't fault Jon and his team, and they were always professional, punctual, and friendly. I had a scare when they started taking the old slates off and found some of the rafters were barely hanging on, but despite it not being part of the original plan, they sourced some new materials and got it fixed up in no time. On one occasion partway through the project I had an issue occur on a Saturday afternoon that required urgent attention. I sent a text message to Jon thinking there was no way I would hear from him until the Monday, but within half an hour he had sent one of his crew round to sort it. There was also an issue when trying to reinstall my ancient Velux window because the hinges on it had completely gone. Anyone else would have told me I needed to pay for a whole new window and installation because the Velux model is so old that parts are no longer sold for it, but Jon managed to salvage some parts from windows he was removing on another job, and he was able to fix up my window and reinstall it. I don't even want to think about how much extra it would have cost me to buy a new Velux window! From start to finish, Jon dealt with every aspect of the job from arranging the scaffolding and skip, to getting building control on site, and I now have a certificate to evidence that my new roof complies with all relevant building regulations. I can't recommend PRS highly enough, thanks to Jon and the team for making what would normally be a very stressful ordeal into a smooth and worry free experience.
