I had an evaporator coil that started to leak and eventually left me without AC in the heart of the summer. First off, the lady I spoke with, when I initially called was so pleasant and helpful. I had an appointment the same day I called, big plus! I received text updates on the technician's arrival time and when Jose arrived, the polite, friendly professionalism continued. He fully explained when appeared to be the issue and explained what may also be a problem, if the initial repair didn't resolve things. He was thorough on the exact cost of the repair, too; and had the office send me a quote, in case it ended up being the bigger issue. Thankfully, the initial repair fixed the problem, but I greatly appreciated the heads-up/explanation/transparency. I did end up getting a new AC, but Blue Sky Heating and Air first did everything they could to keep my old one going. They are not a company that comes out and first thing wants to sell you a new HVAC system. In fact, my heater is fine, so they just replaced only the outside condenser outside unit. Ron came out and checked everything before determining whether a new AC unit was needed. Tommy and Ky (sp?) replaced the unit, and they know what they are doing. They came out the next day and replaced the unit. The new unit is cooling great. In fact, I am turning it up at times because I get too cold - never had that happened with my old unit. He did not try to sell me a replacement system or upgrade even though my unit was on its last legs and was old. He suggested regular maintenance checks and upkeep to let the system keep going since it was still in good working order.
