Charisma is an amazing tutor! She has helped my confidence immensely with Alevel maths through creating a comfortable environment where I feel as though I can ask any question I have, no matter how small. The one on one teaching is invaluable compared to a classroom setting, as she tailors each session to my specific needs, focusing on areas I find more challenging. Her clear explanations and guidance make even the most difficult topics feel more approachable. Before our tutoring sessions, I felt really overwhelmed with Alevel maths as a whole, but Charisma helped me break my revision down into manageable topics, making me realise that it is possible as she is genuinely so encouraging, which is the type of support I didn’t experience in college so I am incredibly grateful for her!

Charisma brings a fun and positive energy to every lesson making each session enjoyable and something I look forward too. Charisma has been a great help to me for maths. When I began I was struggling with grasping the techniques, she helped me understand them from the beginning. When well within a D grade but with charismas help I’ve moved into a B. She has always helped me with questions i have no matter how odd! Hi I am Imogen. I have had Charisma as my tutor only for a few months now in the run up to a level exams; she has really helped me identify my weak points and then strengthen them. This was the case with moments(where I was confused about non-uniform rods and equilibriums). Charisma therefore explained each part of the topic for me allowing me to answer harder exam questions with a lot more confidence. She is super kind and makes herself available to help with any questions I have, even if it’s about a maths question I completed at school. She is also flexible and knowledgeable in all areas of the a level. I would definitely recommend her:)

From the very start, Charisma helped me overcome key topics that I struggled with, making me more confident at school. More recently, we’ve been doing timed papers in exam conditions, which has enabled me to secure my knowledge and exam technique to identify areas that need more work. I find it useful when we go over these topics immediately after exam practice, as I can see how easily I could’ve gained more marks. Where I struggled more with certain concepts, I felt as though I could openly ask for help, and Charisma gives me strategies for remembering these (e.g. a spanner analogy for moment questions in mechanics).It’s these simple mnemonics and revision centred around my needs that have helped me to improve by 2 grades higher in just 4 months of tuition with Charisma!

I had lessons with Charisma for around 6 months, she was and continues to be very cheerful, helpful and flexible with lessons. She is extremely approachable and kind and this very much put me at ease since i was very nervous about having maths lessons. I had a lot of anxiety regarding maths before from other tutors in the past but she really helped me, and never made me feel silly for asking questions or being confused which really aided me in becoming more confident as i no longer felt like i had to avoid chapters because i struggled. I no longer dreaded maths lessons as i really felt that whenever i had a problem, she would help me and by the end of our session i would improve my understanding. She has a very clear way of explaining things and always encouraged me to try myself first and if i was confused at any point i could ask for a hint, which was so useful to the learning process. Would highly recommend her to anyone who needs help in maths, my only regret is that i didn't find her sooner!
