After a bit of a frustrating experience with our 2 minisplit units, I’m relieved to say that Ammon totally fixed our issues. He and Andrew came out and stayed until the problem was resolved. They ended up removing the condensation pumps and running a line to let gravity carry the moisture out. I’m changing my one star review to a five star review based on Ammon and Andrew alone. Ammon kept his word and fixed the constant noises that the pumps made.

This a very reliable company. They are very helpful and will hold your hand through the whole process. Everytime they said don't worry it will be fine... It was. They answer the phone when you call and then proceed to answer your questions, what a concept! They also build a high quality product at an affordable price.

We had a wonderful experience with the team at Leland's Cabins. They patiently worked with us to design the home that we wanted, customizing the items that were important to us. They even went above and beyond by helping us purchase windows and doors that would go into the full basement so that we had a consistent look for the entire house. We were able to see our home as it was being built. The team that came onsite to do the final build was also wonderful.The craftsmanship of the house is outstanding; solidly built with attention to detail that brings the entire look together. And all of it done in much less time than it would take to build a home onsite; and much less headache with coordinating many different contractors.We love the front porch for sunrises and the back deck for sunsets.We couldn't be more happy with our new home. I highly recommend Ammon and the crew at Leland's.

I want to first qualify myself. I have been a Florida Sate Certified General Contractor for over 40 years. I have built and restored hundreds of buildings and have dealt with hundreds of subcontractors, and building material suppliers. I decided to go with a modular built cabin for our Kentucky river front home because I knew I couldn’t be on the job full time, having to split time between Florida and Kentucky. I chose Leland’s initially because of their proximity to my Kentucky property and checking reviews like this one. It was one of the best decisions I ever made in my building career. They were incredibly easy to work with and every promise made was a promise kept. Working with Dawn in the office and Ammon in the field was truly a pleasure. As for workmanship, I still marvel at the incredible wood work in our cabin. As a bonus, all this came with a price tag substantially less than a stick built of log cabin kit house. I couldn’t possibly recommend more, Leland’s cabins.

Leland's Cabins did a great job, we are very happy with our cabin. Our cabin was damaged in transits to be set (miner damages) Leland's came and fixed the damages within that week. Only thing I would say is the communication between sales person and building staff needs to be better. Leland's make a good Quality cabin

After looking at a two dozen home builders, I selected a modular design by Leland's. From sales through completion, I was impressed by their willingness to listen and adapt to my preferences. I purchased a Trophy Peak with options and changes for a view lot. The house feels great and every day is like a vacation!

Our cabin is lovely! Ammon and his team are excellent craftsmen. We got the Appalachian model. There were a few hiccups along the way but Ammon made sure everything was fair and right. Some tips: if you have a walkout basement you’ll need to order a crane to set the cabin - make sure to ask the crane operator which way the cabin should be loaded on the trailer just in case it matters (we unfortunately didn’t know this and the delivery guys had planned to back in our driveway but they had to go in face first bc of how the crane had to work - costly error all around). The hickory cabinets are amazing - I would definitely upgrade to those if you can as everyone compliments them! If you build out your own showers / tile, I’d wait until the cabin arrives to order a tile redi shower pan (or have your GC build it out custom) if you want to go the custom route because the dimensions came in a bit off from what was shown on the drawings due to building code regs. If you order the cutout for the wood stove chimney, talk to your installer first to make sure the placement of hole and materials you purchase are compatible with how the installer is going to do the work. I’d also talk to your HVAC installer before ordering the cabin about the mini split prep. If they can do it without having to get the walls cut open, I’d def go that route. The tongue and groove is so beautiful and I hated that it had a patch over where they cut it for the mini splits so we actually bought more TandG and paid someone to install it. We ordered a screen door but couldn’t figure out how to install it so I’d ask them for help if you get one. Pocket doors are very helpful in the small space - I’d upgrade to those if you can. We initially ordered a 5’ sliding glass door and changed it to 6’ (we paid for this change order after our GC warned us against the 5’ door) and so glad we did - 5’ is too small to fit much thru but we didn’t think about that initially. If you do custom counters in the bathroom, make sure you know how high the medicine cabinet will be placed so that your sink and faucet fit underneath - we had to scramble once it arrived as we hadn’t thought of this. Also the custom light above the medicine cabinet must be the right size, if you go that route (the original one we bought hit the medicine cabinet where the lights hung down so we had to get one that goes up). I really like the bronze can lights - an unexpected nice touch. If you get the green roof, I suggest you buy Mastic aluminum gutters in evergreen as it matched well (it took us a while to figure this out because there is no perfect match with steel to aluminum). We got the GE slate appliances and a greenish granite for the kitchen and it looks so nice! I hope these tips help - the process overall is great and the cabin is awesome. I highly recommend ✨

Our trip to Leland's Log Cabins of Ky. turned out to be excellent, and we left dreaming of owningour own Leland's Log Cabin. We are in the process of seling our home of 21 years. Originally, wewere leaning towards buying an existing home, however after our time visiting theirManufacturing and Model Log Cabins location in Kentucky, my wife and 1 our leaning heavilytowards a Leland's Log Cabin. The show models were more than impressive. They practically sellthemselves. Our hosts, Pam and Wally were extremely courteous, and answered every questionwe had, or promised to find the answer quickly and get back with us with the answer. There wasno hard salesmanship from either Wally and Pam, and that also left me impressed with Leland'sLog Cabins. I worked with Rolling Acres Cabins, now Lelands Cabins, almost 4 years ago. I continue to be pleased with my 2 bed/2 bath cabin. This is my primary residence so I can speak to the craftsmanship; my home is very well insulated and comfortable in all seasons. Ammon Miller was always available to answer questions and explain my options as I customized my cabin. I was able to visit the factory prior to my final selections and was very impressed. I recommend them highly.

We love our new, solidly built, beautiful home! Garrett, Ammon, Dawn, et al, were wonderful to work with. There were a couple minor issues, but they were solved quickly & professionally. We still have some things to wrap-up (gutters, landscaping, etc.), so hopefully I'll remember to add more photos when it's finished : - ) Excellent people to work with--HIGHLY recommend!!

I chose the rolling acres 103. It will be our summer home near a lake in New Hampshire. Our sales rep, Jacob Moore, was excellent to work with. Every time I asked can you make this change he made it happen. Everything from larger interior doors to a stackable washer/dryer in the extra bathroom instead of a shower. Leland will begin construction soon and I will update with photos later. I can't wait!

Jacob has been amazing. He is so easy to communicate with and very responsive. We had a great tour of the building site and in-progress cabins where all of our other questions were throughly answered. We are still in the beginning phases of the process, but I am very confident moving forward with Jacob and this company.

I worked with Leland’s Cabins after a tornado hit my house. They took one of their floor plans and modified it to fit my existing foundation. The staff was accommodating, professional, friendly and fast. I was one of the first, in my neighborhood, to be in my house!

We came to Leland’s Cabins with some apprehension because another cabin builder had done us wrong. We were able to visit the Kentucky factory and see a few that were being assembled and talk to the sales department. From that day on, we knew we had come to the right place. They worked with us to find the perfect home for our lake front property but also within our budget. The day of delivery came with some issues due to the tightness and configuration of the lot. The setup crew sat down and brainstormed the best solution and within a few days the house was set and was ready to be assembled. The house and porch are better than we could have imagined. Once finished the house is exactly as we had envisioned. The factory crew, setup crew and the site assembly crew are some of the best we have come across. They are all very goal oriented and skilled in their profession. We could not have asked for a better crew. We would recommend anyone who is looking to have a cabin built go straight to Leland’s Cabins, you will not be disappointed.

My family and I decided to purchase the Trophy Peak from Leland's cabins back in about Dec of 23 and began the process with them. They were very patient and kind as we worked through the finance pieces of the process and in just a few short months we have our cabin set and ready to go on the property. It's beautiful and excellent craftmanship. The team that came to put the two pieces together were excellent and very kind as well. Overall we've had a great experience! Working on landscaping and sod now!
