After formal insurance inspection KAM was selected t preform our reroof. With all of the hurricane related issues delays were expected. AMAZING COMPANY! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Michelle is fantastic! She was referred to me by a good friend and she came over promptly to check out our roof in 2023. She was very honest and told us we will need a new roof, but probably not for a few years. Because of that I trusted her and I knew I would call her back when the time came. She's very kind and professional. Unfortunately due to a very rainy summer in 2024 we needed a new roof sooner than later. Michelle to the rescue! We were surprised by the lower price of the roof, but luckily our square footage goes up and not across since we have a two story house. She offered us a financing option, so we didn't have to pay the roof off in full right away. She scheduled us about 6 weeks out (they are busy) and helped us pick out the perfect color shingles to match the house. Luckily the install date just happened to be between hurricanes Helene and Milton. The roofers dropped off their supplies the day before and came back the next day at 7:30 am to put the new roof on. They were done by 6 pm. The foreman, Jesus was amazing...very nice, professional and honest. Unfortunately our 100 year old house had a lot of rotted wood under the flat roof out back. Jesus sent us pictures and called to explain what needed to be done. We did have to pay a little more than expected, but we trusted his advice and expertise and still felt it was a fair price. They also installed 3 more vents in our attic, because they said it was way too hot up there and the new vents would circulate the air much better and lower our energy bill. Jesus was so awesome that he actually came back the day before hurricane Milton was supposed to hit to make sure the roof was good to go since Milton was going to bring very strong winds. I am a realtor, so I always tell my clients who are in need of roofing services to call KAM! EDIT: JANUARY 2025. Our giant oak fell on our roof during hurricane Milton. If it were not for the outstanding job done by KAM Roofing 2 years ago we would have had a catastrophe according to the inspector sent by our insurance company. Even so, we needed to replace the roof again (no water damage!). As we expected, there was a long wait to get it done but we would have waited as long as it took. They came out, replaced the roof in one day and cleaned up beautifully when they left. The City of Clearwater inspector just came out and said "You chose the best company. I never have to worry about their work." Word for word.FIRST REVIEWAbsolutely outstanding. We chose KAM Roofing, even though their quote was higher, because of their outstanding reviews. We couldn't be happier. I was prepared to hear that there was this or that delay, but that never happened. They arrived on the day promised (weather is the only reason you might have a delay), there was a full crew, and they worked from morning until night! ONE DAY installation (approx 1500 sq ft home). This was done approximately 4 months ago. We had to get a roof inspection for insurance purposes and we used an inspector we have used for years. He said they had done an outstanding job. Our neighbors couldn't believe it was done in one day. I watched roofers on a similar house down the street take four days to finish. There were only 4 men on that job. Top notch! We have had 8 years of roofing drama, but KAM Roofing put an end to that! We did a full roof replacement and had lots of underlying damage. Leighann came out for the estimate and I was immediately impressed and put at ease. She gave a very full and thorough inspection and then wrapped up with an extremely competitive quote. We were so impressed, we agreed to wait 8-11 weeks for the replacement to occur and signed the contract on the spot. During the 8-11 week wait time, there were 2 hurricanes and lots of communication between KAM and myself. They came out to inspect again post hurricane to put me at ease and ensure we didn't experience additional damage prior to the new roof replacement.I had several conversations with the owner Kyle, and he always made me feel heard, valid, and comfortable with my choice of KAM roofing. He worked with me around the ONE day in the month where rain was coming, and that of course, was the we were scheduled, lol. Kyle was AMAZING and accommodating.When the day finally arrived, Jesus and the crew came out and got working. They were on time, professional, and SO, SO hardworking! They worked late into dark on night 1 to be sure there was a good pausing point and they cleaned up. They were back bright and early day 2 to wrap up the job, and it was a big job! Day 2 was another full day and the rain stopped them a few times, but they were back to work as soon as it stopped. Never late for an appointment and followed through on everything originally discussed. Communication excellent throughout and everything happened as planned. Jordan was here as the supervisor throughout the installation. Found a couple of issues that he clearly explained and I agreed to an additional $260. Two day project - everything was neatly put away after the first day and they were back at 7:30 the next day. The roof looks great and our landscaper was here the next day; he commented there was not a nail or piece of scrap anywhere in the lawn. KAM Roofing completed my standing-seam metal roof in March of this year. The roof turned out well overall, but some of the smaller details could have been better. I'm admittedly a stickler for details, so my evaluation of the work done may be more critical than others who have used KAM. I had about $1500 of facsia, soffit and decking woodwork done, and the quality of the woodwork as well as its finishing was not that great, although it was adequate. The roof teardown and installation of the underlayment and metal panels was good. The sheet metal craftsmanship was rather inconsistent, especially in transition areas of the roof, i.e. gable trim to drip edge, sloped roof to flat roof, etc. Ultimately though, the work was good and I am happy with my new roof. I would definitely recommend that you consider and get a quote from KAM when searching for your next roofing contractor. Thay are a good group of people to deal with. Less

In October of 2023, KAM Roofing replaced the roof at my home. They did a fantastic job. During the three day process, they protected by yard, the pool equipment, and the screened in patio. Each day they left the area clean. Unfortunately, a minor mistake was made with one of the vent covers. It was not discovered for several months. When I called KAM Roofing to address the issue, they went above and beyond immediately. This is clearly a company that stands by their work. Kam Roofing did an excellent job for us, from the moment of the estimate (done by Michelle Ashcraft) we fell comfortable and sure it was all well organized, they end up replacing the regular shingles roof as well as a big flat roof. They setup everything very nicely, protecting with tarps the floor areas all around the house, they bring the trash containers and set them up all nicely protecting the garage door, they tried to coordinate with the Solar Panels company and we got to get involved to sign some approval paperwork for the solar company, but got it all done in two days, they took good care of the gutters, the crew chief (Jesus Angeles) did a great job, keeping us informed and getting his team to do a great job and a good cleaning afterwards. KAM Roofing installed a new roof on my home a little less than two years ago. Though I did not leave a review at that time, I was very satisfied with the work. They did a great job, took pictures, and sent me updates of their work throughout the process. About a month ago during a storm, the vent in my bathroom had a little water leaking in. I called KAM Roofing not thinking this would be covered under warranty, but come to find out it absolutely was! They came out and fixed the vent (not sure of the actual name) on the roof very quickly. Not only that, a few days after they made the repair, THEY CONTACTED ME to come fix the water spot on my bathroom ceiling. I didn't even expect them to come fix the ceiling, but the fact that they contacted me to come make the repairs as opposed to me having to chase them down to do warranty repairs really says a lot about this company. It was time to replace our roof and Kam roofing was referred to us through a friend. We got a few estimates including one from Leighann Hirsch from Kam Roofing. Leighann was very thorough and answered all our questions. Kam's cost estimate was somewhere in the middle, but we opted to use them because of the strong recommendation. We are glad we did. We had pool and photovoltaic solar panels on the roof. Unlike the others, Kam's estimate included the removal and reinstall of the panels, and although they used Solar Solutions for the job, they assumed responsibility for the work and the warranty. Our production manager, Brian Schwerdtfeger, communicated with us on key dates and provided updates regularly. He was very responsive. And Hilton supervised the project and reviewed the work during and after the install. We were very happy with the work and will recommend them to anyone needing work done on their roof. Less

Leighann did the estimate for my new roof. She was on time and very professional, pointing out different things that could be changed and some things that were done incorrectly on my previous roof. She suggested the roofing color, Summer Harvest by Owens Corning, which I went with. (my original roof was white). The crew was here and delivered all the material in one day, and it was installed and completed the next day, and all packaging materials was cleaned up before they left. If a roof can be considered gorgeous, mine new roof is just that. Absolutely gorgeous. The multicolored shingles really stand out. I would definitely recommend KAM ROOFING SERVICES to anyone looking to replace their roof. Update: When the trailer, loaded with old roofing materials, was pulled out of my back yard along the alley, one of the tires actually sunk and opened up a big hole in the ground. I called KAM for an opinion (Brian and Hilton were awesome!) on a new roof (installed 2020) because a different roofing company than the company that installed the new roof said they needed to charge me thousands to fix some defects. Rather than call the original roofer (roof is still under warranty) I heard KAM did great work so I wanted an opinion before I called in on the warranty. They said there were no major issues, but loose shingles and sealing needed to be done. Since it was a small job they charged me VERY little, I felt guilty because it was definitely well below their cost. They also spoke with me about the roofs current condition and some things to monitor to stay ahead of future issues. I would use KAM in the future for any roof issues. Let me repeat, even though the roof was under a warranty with a different company, they offered, and I agreed to just have them do the minor shingle and chimney repairs. These guys are the best by far. I believe their prices are competitive, but their quality is on a whole different level. They were super careful to leave me with a clean yard when they were done and communication was stellar throughout. I had a roof installed 6 months prior, paid more and it was done horribly by a different company. It was so bad it had to be redone.The difference between KAM and the other company was day and night. There were a few special requests I had and they worked with me on them and worked around some other projects that had to be done at the same time. After they were done, I didn't find a single nail anywhere on my property and the company prior left so many I was still finding them just before KAM came out. Hurricane Ian removed a good portion of our roof. During the storm I reached out to a close friend and was refer to KAM. Before the storm had even past Kyle was on the phone with me and was in the area extremely fast to install tarps and make sure not just us but, our neighbors and anyone else that needed him were safe until the roofing materials could arrive and be installed. Once the materials were on site, his crew was here the next day and removed and replaced and installed addition ridge vents on our roof in under a 2 day period (its a fairly large roof). One day I found a paper on my doorstep left by Michelle at stating that KAM roofing was replacing my neighbor's roof and if I was concerned about noise or wanted an estimate to give her a call. That is a really professional way to solicit a customer in my opinion so, I called immediately. A week earlier I got an estimate to replace my roof from another big name in the area which shocked me. The next day Michelle showed up early for the appointment to quote my roof. She crawled through my attic looking for any damaged wood then got on the roof with a tape measure. I have spent my life in construction. I like seeing pads of paper and tape measures when someone writes me an estimate. Yeah, I know with enough experience most people in a trade can throw out a rough number and be close. I don't want close. I want accurate and justifiable. Seeing someone measure is important to me. It shows that they are going to be more accurate than somebody just winging it using a google image because the wingers usually wing it a little on the high side. She then took the time to show me samples of the venting, shingles, colors and explained how they re-nail with larger nails and include the wind mitigation inspection in their price. I asked her many questions because I like knowing exactly what I am paying for. She had solid answers for me and I was impressed by her professionalism. A couple weeks later, we decided to skip getting any more estimates and get it scheduled with KAM. I did not get a third estimate. KAM was $3,000 under the guys who estimated my roof from a google satellite image with no tape measure. When it came time to get material and a trailer delivered the communication from Brian was top notch. He answered his phone and replied to emails within ten minutes. My roof replacement was scheduled for the exact time hurricane Nicole was going to pass through the area. I did not want the material delivered onto my roof with forecasted tropical storm winds and I did not want any work to start. One call to Brian alleviated my concern. The material delivery and job was rescheduled without any hesitation. I really appreciated that. I cannot convey how professional and prompt their communication was. On the day the job started I was unable to be home but, given their professionalism up to then I had no concern. After getting started, Hilton their supervisor called me to discuss how the job was progressing and explain that there were a couple of minor repairs needed. Hilton sent me pictures of the damaged wood and the repair work was so reasonably priced that I immediately approved whatever they needed to do. The job took two days start to finish. They picked up their trailer and Hilton performed his final inspection on day three. The crew on the roof worked efficiently and most importantly they worked quietly. They were not thumping music while they worked. They were not yelling all day across my roof and they were not dangerously throwing material down. Everything was handled in a controlled and safe manner. My yard was left clean. My driveway was clean and they didn't leave a trail of garbage down my street. Kam Roofing is the most honest roofing company you can hire and this is why: I first hired Kam Roofing to put a new roof on one of our rental properties. First off, they communicated flawlessly, were punctual, professional, and essentially the total package. I then called them at a later date to estimate a leak on my primary property's roof. They informed me that the repair was going to be around 2k. Instead of paying them, Kam Roofing suggested I contact the previous company that installed the roof as it could be potentially under warranty. Sure enough, Kam Roofing was correct! Even though I bought the home two years ago and the roof was installed 2 years prior to my purchase, I was able to get the roof fixed for free by the prior roofer. NOTHING says integrity like a company that sends away good business like that. Kam Roofing cares more about saving you money and your benefit then themselves! What a top notch company. The experience my husband had with KAM Roofong could not have been any better! Michelle came to my home to give me a quote and could not have been more knowledgeable as she walked me through the process and answered all of my questions. The quote we received was very competitive and I liked the idea of working with a family owned business. Once we signed the contract we received a welcome letter thanking us for choosing them and letting us know what to expect. The day before our new roof was to be installed they came over and used a truck with a conveyor belt to load the supplies on to our roof. They also protected our garage door, laid a tarp in the driveway and left a dumpster for the old roof. Before beginning work they even covered our pool! Brandon, the supervisor on site was in constant communication with us and sent pictures with any issues that needed repair. And they are good, relatable people all the way through from the first sales contact through the install and final inspection. The aspects that I liked the most were the details that often get overlooked or aren't immediately visible. In terms of the install, the KAM roofing team proved highly capable in response to some good challenges around the gables and elswhere where wood needed to be replaced in a 44 year old house. Very knowledgeable about roofs, asked me what I wanted done, suggested some ideas. She knows her stuff!! I was amazed she climbed up on the roof. Gave me a quote within days. Accepted it and under 6 weeks roof is done. Jesus and his crew were amazing. Showed up in the morning, got everything set up. Jesus talked to me halfway thru the job and said there was wood damage, gave me a quote to repair wood damage. Which I expected that may happen. Crew worked up till dusk. Cleaned up and now I have a new roof, had the pitch changed and 2 vents added. Next morning trailer picked up and the gentleman picked up what was missed. I was please with the reroofing from start to finish....Michelle the estimator came out, measured the roof and explained what would happen with the reroof. I asked a lot of questions and felt comfortable with the process. The crew did a great job and in two days I had a terrific looking new roof. Roofs ain't cheap in case you haven't checked lately but KAM came in lower than some but I really read all the reviews before I make a purchase and you should too. Kam took out the horrible wind turbines that were installed by another owner and put in the ridge vents over the house and garage.....no ridge vent on the garage previously. I can really tell a difference now. And the house is much cooler. Kyle and his crew did a great job and they are trustworthy.
