Nice town pub with lots of cozy indoor rooms to sit, as well as an enormous and comfortable outdoor seating area. Just off the town square. Dog friendly and a decent selection of beers. Very attentive and friendly staff. Will definately be back.

This is the best pub in Hitchin. Fantastic dj’s who are not trying to ruin a good tune by messing around with too many effects etc they get the vibe. The staff are always excellent and security kind and friendly.Everyone should pay a visit especially on the weekends! Expect to hear music from all genres and all the nostalgic bangers!!

Great Pub.Went there for an event today that some people hosted upstairs. First time properly in Hitchin and first time at the place.Reasonability priced drinks.Both bartenders Damien and Adam were a delight to talk to. Full of personality and engagement. Adam has a Dredd tattoo which is sick 😎 Made my visit.I'll eventually come back here for the same event hosted each month. Sound place for a drink but also a pub crawl

My husband and I popped in for one drink as the exterior looked so inviting. Inside it was delightful with an amazing fireplace. The ceiling was beamed and dated from 1600's. The staff were so friendly & informative about the area. Definitely worth a visit. No rating given for food as food not served.

Lovely roast with a great home made Yorkie! Friendly staff and good service. Visiting with dogs and they were made very welcome too! Just needs a bit more light in the back area, was a bit dark during the day. The bar area by the front door was very well lit though.

This place has the most fantastic roasts. I got a large and actually couldn’t finish. The slow cooked ribeye was incredible and roast potatoes perfectly crispy. Staff friendly and accommodating and the prices so reasonable for the snacking quality of food
