I have recently begun to get my elderly Mother's affairs in order as she's having a little decline in abilities to deal with more complicated matters, especially in this computer age. We needed the necessary paperwork for me to deal with all her legal and health related matters, plus she wanted a will put in place that reflected her current situation. I had called a few other law firms and even had a phone interview with another firm. Then crickets. No one ever reached back out to follow up. How did I get here?I turned my attention to my legacy, which I should have done sooner, and envisioned a need to organize and clarify my wishes for a time when I could not do them for myself.Software can produce documents for wills and trusts and so forth, give guidance, and I guess it works, kind of.
