When we lost our cat Onyx we took him to Eternal Waters Aquamation. The kindness and compassion from the owners was very much appreciated in our time of need. It was very comforting to know that his body was being treated with care. They did an amazing job with his remains and we got him back quickly. Though protocols were different due to covid19 we felt that they were using all precaution to keep us and their employees safe. After getting our boy back and looking at the ashes we don't ever want to do standard cremation again. The Aquamation process is not only environmentally friendly but the remains were very nice. Mozi is home. Laura & I had talked at length about how we would take care of our fur-babies when their time in this realm ended. We both loved the premise of aquamation, it's eco friendly and gentle. I chose Eternal Waters Aquamation, they were so kind and gentle with my boy. The care and genuine feelings they showed us through a very difficult time was amazing. Today I picked up Schmoo and was just blown away, his little paw print forever preserved. A visible reminder of how many miles we walked together, exploring the state & national parks, running on the Atlantic, Pacific, and Gulf sands, and of course how he swaggered right into all our hearts. There is a small glass jar with some clippings of his frosted caramel fur, he was a dandy and always prided himself with his looks. And of course his ashes, I'm planning that roadtrip. I'll be leaving little bits in several of our favorite places, definitely the Gulf, Big Bend, Sequoia, Grand Canyon, Superstitious Mountains, & Deception Pass. When that time gets closer I'll let everyone know and if you want to be a part of that journey we can meet along the way. Eternal Waters Aquamation provides an amazing service. You don’t always get the microchip back with aquamation, but you never do with regular cremation. This is their standard package, and it’s really high quality. I also got a fur clipping, whiskers, and thick clay paw print. They’ve picked up from my house before, but this time I went to them because they have a very lovely comfort room where I got spend some time with Bonnie and say goodbye to her. My own private funeral service. This one was especially hard to let go of. I was not ready. But I’m glad she’s back where she belongs, and I’m grateful to know she had such tender, personal care while she was away. 💙 Less
