Had my door fall down ( was installed by 89's ) totally not their fault at all, brick and mortar work failed ,called them up, Gail was FRAKING amazing, sorted a friend to come and look at the job for me and her, no chargeonce sorted and i had done the work needed to re install the door, a time was arranged .when the installer got here, he was very unsure if he could do the job, so he called his boss and explained etc, then i was called by gail to let me know, i was like , thats great that the installer has the confidence and knowledge to not perform work he was unsure of, and able to call his boss and explain all that, was no issues on my side at all,new date was set up ( about a week later ) 2 installers came out and did the job, they where bery friendly, they had the 1st guy come out so he could get some good experiance with this situation,Some horrendously good service from these guys and gals, 4th time they have done work here ( 3 doors, and now this reinstall ) not the cheapest around, but some of the best service i have ever had! such a shame i dont need another door installed! Were very accomodating in booking at a time they weren't going to be in the area but was better timing for me. Tradesperson was only minimally over time, was polite, friendly and professional. The cost was reasonable and came in under what I was quoted on the phone. They didn't try to rip me off or try to tell me I needed work done which I didn't need. In years gone by this was called just being honest and doing your job. Sadly in the current trades market in Perth in 2024 this is worth 5 stars. I'll be recommending 89s to everyone I know. Less

One of the springs of my garage door broke so the door wouldnt open and close using the remote control. I called 89s at 7.30am and it was fixed same day at 2pm. Very fair price and excellent service. I've used them before and highly recommend them. Less

Terrible manners and customer service.Asked for a quote for a new garage door with some alteration/possible relocation of where it is mounted.The guy came out for a quote, was a bit rude, and clearly wanted to do the bare minimum replacement of the door job - I asked about moving the posts to provide extra length to garage or to do some free-standing posts - the guy did some measurements and then ghosted me.a simple " sorry we can't do this" would have been niceUpdate/Edit: Recieved phonecalls after the review , with the person who attended apologising for any perceived slight towards me , admitting they did say they would call me back and asking for the review to come down.Explained that the job cannot be done unless someone else builds a frame first - if they had only said that in the first place I would have had someone do that and then use their business to install the door.While I do appreciate the apology, asking for a review to come down via private phone calls is a little shady. Updated from 2 to 3 stars. I'm sure if you need a simple garage door replacement, you will be happy with the job, but I can not recommend this business based on my interaction Less
