When I first met Roland, the owner, and the Artemis team, I had been dealing with sciatica-related pain for over a year. I had stepped away from many of the activities I love and often had to pause even simple daily tasks because of discomfort. Before that, I lived a very active lifestyle that included rock climbing, yoga, hiking, and other fitness pursuits. Over many months, I had tried physical therapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and injections, but nothing provided lasting improvement for me.Roland took the time to listen carefully to my goals, review my background, and complete a thorough assessment. He explained his experience working with people returning to activity after setbacks, and for the first time in a long while, I felt genuinely optimistic. Artemis built a program specifically for me that focused on rebuilding foundational strength and stability and thoughtfully transitioning from rehab-style work into strength training. After four months of consistent training, my discomfort has decreased significantly and feels much more manageable. I can now go multiple days without issues, and I’ve been able to slowly reintroduce other sports and activities. My training has also progressed into more strength-focused work, which feels encouraging. The entire Artemis coaching team is knowledgeable, supportive, and easy to work with. The coaching feels personal and attentive, and the environment is welcoming regardless of whether you’re more social or prefer to focus quietly on your workout. If your goal is returning to activity, continuing your progress, or working toward higher performance in a supportive setting, Artemis is a place I would strongly recommend based on my experience.
