I would highly recommend Robert S. Inman Landscaping. I hired Bob and his team last year for a large, complex yard project, and the experience from start to finish was excellent.Bob was recommended by my designer as one of a few qualified contractors, and it quickly became clear why. This was not a simple landscaping job. The project involved multiple contractors and trades, including a large second-story deck, a new pool and spa, along with a swim-up bar, sunken outdoor kitchen, retaining walls, and a complete front yard makeover.Bob served as the general contractor for the project and coordinated all aspects of the work, including the deck construction performed by his structural subcontractor. Because the deck was directly adjacent and integrated into to the pool, the work required close coordination between the structural engineer, pool engineer, pool contractor, and structural trades. Since the structures were literally touching, sequencing, inspections, and footing requirements had to be carefully managed. Bob handled that coordination smoothly while keeping the overall project moving forward.For us, quality mattered far more than speed. Bob was not the cheapest option, and likely not the fastest, but that was intentional and appropriate. Many contractors are willing to accept minor imperfections to keep a project moving. Bob was not. On multiple occasions, work that was already formed or underway was stopped, reviewed, and redone because it did not meet his standards, even when that meant rework at his expense. He consistently chose to do it right rather than rush it.Throughout the project, Bob, his project manager, and on-site foreman, provided thoughtful, practical feedback and recommendations based on experience. In most cases, we followed his guidance because it clearly improved the final outcome. As with most projects, there were changes we requested as the work progressed. Bob was always upfront and straightforward, clearly explaining options and tradeoffs. Many of the changes involved things that are difficult to fully anticipate during design, such as additional lighting, outlets, and functional details that only become obvious once the space is largely built.His crew worked diligently for months and was on site nearly every day. Even several months after the project was completed, we experienced a lighting issue following heavy rainstorms. Bob had his team out the very next day to troubleshoot and resolve the problem. That level of responsiveness and customer service, especially well after project closeout, is uncommon.The project ultimately turned out exactly as envisioned. I would hire Bob again without hesitation and would recommend him to anyone undertaking a complex landscape project who values quality, coordination, accountability, and long-term follow-through. Bob’s company did our yards a couple years ago and it still looks as good as new. We have had over 20 people that saw our front yard and they ask if they could see our backyard. EVERYONE of were super impressed with entire job. They always show up on time and put in a full days work. Best in the Business!!!We needed some touch up on our landscaping after 6 years and when I text Bob just to ask questions. He handled everything we needed. After over 6 years the property still looks awesome !! Our neighbors always ask about us.You can not go wrong with Bob Inman Landscaping!! If you have a choice and go with someone else you’re making a MISTAKE !!
