This is not a transparent sale. You should at least put a sticker on the package that says, “Cook or freeze immediately”. I threw away almost $10 and a whole pack of chicken. This store and cafe are a gem to have in our city. This is my go to spot for spices, tea, Turkish coffee, snacks, and more. It’s one of the most affordable Mediterranean markets in Columbus, and I can never leave without stopping at the little cafe in the back for a delicious kefta pita sandwich with fresh housemade hummus and baba that are so flavorful.

Stopped out of curiosity and looking to try something new. I bought taboon and some sweet treats. A friendly customer offered up what he usually does with the bread. He suggested putting cheese, mint and olive oil. Super simple and I loved it. The gentleman at the register was so kind and friendly.

I need to preface this with the fact that I am tatted and pierced, as is my spouse. That has led not to being treated poorly, but definitely not welcomed in some area establishments. It can be intimidating to enter a place that is not your culture, or to feel that you are not “supposed” to be there, that you are intruding or worse offending by your presence. The proprietor here was beyond warm and welcoming. That intimidation feeling was gone immediately. He was kind enough to show us around, gave us some samples (we will be back for falafel and hummus because OH YUM)and was all around delightful. They bake their pita fresh every day, and we got both the plain and Zataar (which I’m sure I misspelled). It’s delicious. The small deli/meat counter had a lot of items I’ve not seen elsewhere, (like lamb tongue and what I think was a ready to cook kibbeh) everything looked delicious and fresh. From fresh figs to bulk dates to an array of seasonings, candies, and canned goods I could easily spend my whole paycheck here. It’s a little small, a little crowded, but if my only complaint is that I wish it were bigger, they’re doing things right. I can’t wait to go back. Great little place to get fresh falafel - it's one of the best in town. I pick up falafel, hummus, and pita from here frequently for parties and everyone raves about it.

You can buy fresh meat (one of the best in Columbus) dairy products, snacks for the whole family and should try their shawarma (chicken or beef) and rotisserie chicken, very tasty.

Wonderful folks working here, really friendly and gave me a taste of falafel and hummus, and it brought me back to being in Jordan. Get yourself some falafel, baba ganoush, and pita and you’ll be a happy camper!

Warm, welcoming atmosphere and an engaging, driven owner. Excellent fresh breads, falafel, and hummus. A large selection of high-quality imported foods. A great experience, and will definitely be returning.

Great place to buy meat

I highly recommend this place! We were graciously greeted when we walked in. Their fresh flatbreads with different toppings are simply amazing and so full of flavor. When we checked out he found out thay it was our first time there and he provided a free sample of fresh hummus and falafels, which were the best. We will be back and you should definitely check them out.

The owner was very hospitable and polite. I came and bought one of their pistachio treats and he offered me a free sample of their falafel and hummus. They were delicious and just what I needed from running errands all day!

This place is amazing! Some of the best falafel I've had in Columbus, with incredible, fresh, home-made cheese pies and fresh, home-made baklavah! The new bowls are delicious, and the grocery selection has a lot of quality food you'd be hard-pressed to find elsewhere in the city. On top of all that, Jawad is warm, friendly, welcoming, and kind. 5/5 would definitely recommend.

This best place to get fresh bread, food, meats and mederitaian groceries. The falafel and hummus is by far the best in the city. The Staff are always nice. It's a small place, but honestly it's a gem. Ask for the free falafel sample.

What an amazing experience! We had never been before this past Sunday. When we walked in (Shame on me for forgetting his name) the owner welcomed us with open arms and offered a tour! He then proceeded to give us free samples of fresh pita and falafels. The BEST falafels we've ever had! We will absolutely be back.

Great place to eat!!!!

My mother and I walked into this store hoping to get a gyro and ended up with so much more. Firstly, of the customers explained to us what was good and how to prepare it. Next, of the chefs helped us decide what was good by letting us sample the olives and mango sauce. Finally, the cashier gave us a free pistachio baklava insisting that we would love it. If I could give six stars I would.

Horrible experience, false advertising. Never going again.

Had hummus, falafel and pita that was absolutely delicious while I was at a get-together. People were asking the person who brought it where she got it from. She said she got it from this store. I went straight there after I left the party to get some to take home. Delicious, fresh, reasonably priced and very friendly service.
