It is unfortunate to see how much this gym has changed under the current management. What was once a welcoming community with great potential has become an environment filled with favoritism, unprofessional behavior, and unnecessary drama.While there are a few coaches here who genuinely care about their athletes and embody what coaching should be, the leadership and several of the main coaches have lost sight of what it means to be professional. Coaching should be about supporting, encouraging, and helping members grow, but that is not always the experience many people receive here.One of the biggest issues is the lack of inclusivity. This gym serves a diverse group of members, yet it often feels like attention and opportunities are directed toward only one segment of the community. Everyone who pays to be here deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and supported regardless of their background.Another concern is the apparent favoritism among some coaches. It often feels like members who are friends with certain coaches receive more attention, guidance, and encouragement, while others are largely overlooked. Coaching should be consistent and available to all members, regardless of personal relationships. No one should feel like they need to be part of an inner circle to receive quality coaching and support.Additionally, management frequently appears to blur the line between personal opinions and professional decision-making. This has created an atmosphere that feels more like a high school clique than a fitness community. Gossip, favoritism, and bullying have become more noticeable, making it difficult for many members to feel comfortable.It’s disappointing because this gym had so much potential. Many people joined because they were looking for a supportive and welcoming fitness community. Unfortunately, under the current management, that sense of community has significantly declined, and the environment no longer reflects the values that a CrossFit gym should represent.p.s they tell their members to write all these good reviews. Dont be fooled.

I would like to think Vangard CrossFit gym for letting me drop into class when I was on vacation and everyone was really nice and welcoming. The coach was amazing. The next I’m in Florida I would go again for sure 💪🏽

Ive been. loyal member to this box for seven years. Through covid and three different ownerships personally brought in multiple new members who still pay and train there today. After a few years I was offered a trade agreement by a previous owner. Which this current owners did honor.However, since the change in ownership, the professionalism and integrity of this gym have completely disappeared. The new owners have no experience running a business and have handled matters with immaturity and bias. My membership was terminated immediately in direct retaliation for an issue that had absolutely nothing to do with me.The environment has become divided and unwelcoming. If you are not Spanish, you will not be treated fairly or included. The coaching culture has also become inappropriate, with some coaches more focused on inappropriate behavior with members than on actual coaching.After seven years of loyalty and support, I am extremely disappointed. What used to be a great fitness community has turned into an unprofessional and toxic environment.Thanks for a the feedback I unfortunately couldn’t get a response when we did this 1 on 1. I hope in the future you offer better business to your members. Best regards to you and your community.

CrossFit Vangard is an amazing gym and the perfect place to drop in while visiting the Orlando area. I was in town and looking for a place to work out, and from the moment I walked in I felt completely welcomed by both the coaches and members. The class was challenging in all the right ways and felt just like the workouts I’m used to at my home gym, which was exactly what I was hoping for. After only one class, it already felt like I had been part of their community for a while. I only wish I had one more day on my trip so I could have gone back again, but I will definitely be returning to CrossFit Vangard the next time I’m in Orlando!
