If you want a bulldog to go to bat for you to make a deal happen, give Mike a call. If it is your first time and you aren't sure what direction you want to go in and you want someone to walk you through myriad options, I'd say there are probably other people that can take that kind of time. But if you know what you are trying to do, and need help explore ways to make that specific project work, and then maybe need someone to convince the lender to do the deal, give Mike a call. We ran into some issues during underwriting but Mike went to bat for us where other lenders said they couldn't do it. It is analogous to doing a home repair and talking to 6 difference contractors because you aren't sure what to do and are thinking maybe you can do part of it yourself to save a few bucks. OR- maybe you've been there done that and don't want to screw around with the risks and hassles, and you just want to pay a fair price and deal with a professional who won't waste your time because you recognize the value of getting it done correctly and quickly. If you've gone through the process before and know what kind of headaches you don't want to put up with, give Mike a call. I've definitely been "that guy" who kicks the tires and tries to squeeze every penny out of everything and be very DIY. I still am that guy, but at least with some things I recognize that I can't afford NOT to work with professionals and that I need to get out of my own way and let the pros do what they do best.
