As an entertainer for senior living residences across Portland, I’ve been to many places, some luxurious, some for outside appearances not much to look at. Volante Senior Living immediately gave me a sense that the staff (and there were a lot everywhere) were all fully present, fully engaged and fully committed to not just the safety of their residents (although that’s certainly a plus), but also the well-being of each and every one. So much attention was paid to the needs of the residents. Some memory-impaired joined the performance and they were not just tolerated but accepted by the general assisted living residents.The warmth and caring generated by Deborah and Candace was reflected in each and every caretaker, janitor, receptionist, and general staff. A fellow coughed loudly and uncontrollably during the performance and no one turned to him irritated or flustered. I sang a song that moved a woman to tears and Candace immediately saw it and moved to sit by her and hold her hand. I look forward to returning to bring joy and pleasure to all at this home. Less

Not a bad place anywhere u put someone u care about is hard and never as good as you would do but this place tries and has taken care of both my parent and it's clean safe and updated and in these places that's about all u can ask for Less

I toured the facility with the director, Tammy. While I am not wanting to move him in immediately, I am looking for a home for my husband. I was very impressed with the level of knowledge and professionalism shown by Tammy. I had the opportunity to meet the nurse, Asia as well. I was equally impressed by her. I understand these two ladies are fairly new to this facility, but have now doubt they are a huge benefit. I would trust them completely and will be back when I’m ready! Less
