UNPROFESSIONAL/UNDEPENDABLE My regular hairdresser was on vacation and I was supposed to be going away as well and needed my roots done. I made an appointment several days prior to the day I needed to have this done in order to go on vacation without gray hair. On that day, just 40 minutes before my appointment (it's about a 45 minute drive away), while driving to my appointment, my phone rang and a hair stylist who was not even the one scheduled to do my hair called. She told me they were running "a bit behind ". I assumed she meant about 15 minutes. She then told me it would be an hour later than my appointment! I could NOT do that . I was leaving the next morning and had worked before leaving for this appointment and had not packed and needed some last minute things for my trip. When I informed her I couldn't wait that long and asked why I was just being informed so close to my appointment time, I got no explanation other than "running a bit late". I was then put on hold, she came back and informed me she would "make it work ". I asked how, she replied; " I have my ways". I was so relieved. Then, 5 minutes later, my cell phone went off again and it was the owner, Leslie. She informed me that they could not provide the "quality of service " they usually do, therefore she told me my appointment was cancelled! I told her I needed my hair done for my vacation. She repeated they would not allow me to come in. Completely unprofessional and unreliable! If you need your hair done for any special reason, they cannot be counted on and they make NO APOLOGIES!
