Excellent dog training service that delivered fast, noticeable results with clear guidance and a caring approach—highly recommend

I highly recommend The Collar Club Academy for your dog trainer needs. They were very helpful helping me figure out how to properly communicate with my dog. Their board and train program is very convenient for someone with a busy schedule. They answered all my questions thoroughly during their hands on training lessons to help me keep up the training when my dog Bruno came home. The team here is highly compassionate and it shows in their work. Thank you all for your help with my Bruno boy!

These two good ol' boys have been through several rounds of training with The Collar Club Academy, and it shows.Every time we're out, people compliment their coats—but almost immediately after, they comment on how incredibly well-behaved they are. Having two well-trained dogs is a luxury that's seriously underrated.Whether we're running errands or taking a trip, I never have to worry about how they'll behave. They listen, know their commands, and make life so much easier. I don't have to stress about wrangling two dogs on top of everything else the day throws at me.The entire staff at The Collar Club Academy is phenomenal. They genuinely care about your pets and consistently go above and beyond. My dogs absolutely love going there, and honestly, I'm starting to worry they won't want to come home!

Nikki and her team saved my sanity. They took my unruly dog and turned her into a smart, well behaved member of our family. In the end, I learned that iI was the root cause of my dogs issues. I needed to be trained as much as my dog. Nikki's kept me in the loop at all times by sending videos or emails on the progress of the training. Nikki invited me to visit my dog when my dog was acting "off" in the end, my dog was just missing me and it wasn't anything health related, but I appreciated the complete care and communication making me aware of the situation.Now that I have a well behaved dog, I'm thinking about adding a puppy to my family... You can bet I will enroll the new puppy at the Collar Club Academy when recommended so the training starts at a young age.

BEWARE OF THIS FACILITY!!!!Would rate 0 stars if I could.Booked our freshly one year old, completely healthy, labradoodle for the 3 week board and train. Dropped him off 5/23/2026, went to our in-facility training on 6/6/2026 and he was perfectly fine (wanted to jump on us and kiss us but they didn’t let him because he was in training to learn to be a better boy… wishing we got to have a few more kisses from him), facility contacted us 6/10/2026 evening and said he was being weird and that they’d monitor him, we had to put him down 6/11/2026 just 4 days before he was supposed to graduate and come home to us. Facility was so cold about the whole situation, didn’t even apologize for our loss and has since ghosted me after requesting a refund (because not only do we no longer have a dog to use the service we paid for, we didn’t even get to complete the course). The facility had him tested without our permission and the results showed he had contracted a contagious virus, which could have only been from this facility. He was a young, healthy pup who had never been around other dogs. We are so heartbroken and just hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else who entrusts these people to care for their fur baby. I’ve given them plenty of time to try to make things right amicably. I am a very understanding person, but the fact that they couldn’t even muster up the dignity to even respond to me was my last straw. Everyone who considers this facility needs to know the damage they have caused our family. Sammy boy was our baby girl’s first birthday present last year and they were the best of friends. They were supposed to have the best childhood together and were completely robbed of that. I truly believe he would still be with us if we didn’t enroll him at the Collar Club.edited to reply to owners response: perfect example of deflection and trying to save your business. all of that is false. you don’t have the decency to respond to my emails but can be a keyboard warrior on a review… exactly the type of person I expected I was dealing with. “hearts go out to the family”…. We adopted a beagle in July 2025 and had a bad experience with another company.Nikki and her company were amazing. They had to unwind bad habits/training before they could improve our beagles behavior.We initially were quoted for 3 weeks of training. Our beagle ended up staying closer to 5 weeks and there was no additional cost/fee. Unlike the previous training company, Nikki gave us her number and reminded us to reach out anytime we have questions/need help.I highly recommend Nikki and her team.

Nikki and The Collar Club Academy exceeded our expectations with Dillon. We enrolled him in the 3-week program and the improvement was incredible. His listening, recall, leash behavior, focus, and overall obedience improved dramatically in a very short time. Midway through the program we visited the facility and were amazed at how well he was responding to commands and how engaged and confident he had become.What really impressed us was that the training didn’t stop at the facility. After the program, Nikki came to our home and worked with us directly to make sure Dillon successfully carried everything he learned into our everyday environment. That personal attention and follow-through made a huge difference.Dillon is a smart, energetic Sheltie with a lot of drive, and Nikki clearly understood exactly how to work with his personality and intelligence while still recognizing he was only a young puppy. The training was professional, structured, realistic, and extremely effective. She not only trained Dillon, but also taught us how to maintain consistency so he continues building on his success.We could not be happier with the results and highly recommend The Collar Club Academy to anyone looking for serious, high-quality dog training.

Our deaf border collie is a different dog, since completing his training! We learned so many skills to continue this learning journey with him. Nikki has been so helpful, teaching us the right way to provide guidance and communicate our expectations to him. We are forever grateful! Cooper says thank you too!!
