Nikki and The Collar Club Academy exceeded our expectations with Dillon. We enrolled him in the 3-week program and the improvement was incredible. His listening, recall, leash behavior, focus, and overall obedience improved dramatically in a very short time. Midway through the program we visited the facility and were amazed at how well he was responding to commands and how engaged and confident he had become.What really impressed us was that the training didn’t stop at the facility. After the program, Nikki came to our home and worked with us directly to make sure Dillon successfully carried everything he learned into our everyday environment. That personal attention and follow-through made a huge difference.Dillon is a smart, energetic Sheltie with a lot of drive, and Nikki clearly understood exactly how to work with his personality and intelligence while still recognizing he was only a young puppy. The training was professional, structured, realistic, and extremely effective. She not only trained Dillon, but also taught us how to maintain consistency so he continues building on his success.We could not be happier with the results and highly recommend The Collar Club Academy to anyone looking for serious, high-quality dog training.

Our deaf border collie is a different dog, since completing his training! We learned so many skills to continue this learning journey with him. Nikki has been so helpful, teaching us the right way to provide guidance and communicate our expectations to him. We are forever grateful! Cooper says thank you too!!

We sent our 7 month old dog to the Collar Club Academy for their 3 week board and train program and the results are amazing! Our biggest concerns were nipping, food aggression towards us, and jumping on people and all have been very well addressed through the training. Lora did a fantastic job of not only teaching our dog the skills but teaching us as well. The home visits were extremely helpful and the fact that they are available to help after the program is amazing! Highly recommend the Collar Club Academy!

I called this company today and spoke to a young lady. She said she was going to ask me a few questions then transfer me to a Trainer if they were available. She asked normal questions such as my name, phone number, etc, then started hinting that someone may need to call me back. I told her that the number I gave her was a work phone and I was currently driving to return it to the office. She asked if there was another callback number and I replied not at the moment. She asked if I had an email. I told her I did, but I wouldn’t necessarily check it anytime soon. Then I said this, “I wish you would’ve told me someone would need to call me back because I would’ve told you that I can’t be called back at this time”. I further explained to her that the only phone number I could use is my husband’s phone and I didn’t have that on me. She then proceeds to say, “I’m trying to help you but you’re being rude”. Although I knew my current contact situation is unique and I wasn’t being rude, I apologized to her anyways for the sake of keeping the peace. She then goes on to say, “Most people at least have a cell phone ma’am”! (For context, I broke my phone last week and used a loaner work phone that I had to return today). As I tried to explain to her that sometimes when you’re on the phone and can’t see facial expressions people can seem rude, but I didn’t get a chance to complete that sentence because the lady just kept talking over me. She wouldn’t let me get a word in to explain. Finally I ended the call by just saying, “never mind, never mind”. Then I just hung up. At this point with someone so quick to project their own frustration on a potential customer over the phone, I wouldn’t trust them with my dog as emotional intelligence is very important to me. First impressions are everything and the lady wouldn’t let me speak to explain to her my unique situation. I even tried to smile so that my voice could sound friendlier. Nothing worked. I’ll pass on this place.

The training was so effective for our dog. He is now very well-behaved. Nikki and Lora have been wonderful in training him and providing daily detailed feedback throughout his training. We highly recommend the Collar Club. Thank you so much!

We had our dog Willow at the Academy for 3 weeks for training.. she is 6 months old and it was a nightmare before we sent her. She came back a different dog.. We had to learn ourselves how to continue with what Laura and Nikki taught her, and it is amazing what a different dog she is.. I cannot thank you enough for your time and patience and the love i felt having her train with you...I am just so happy and excited for our future. Thank you soooooo much... Our 2 year old Aussie mix recently completed the board and train program. Our main concerns were leash reactivity, impulse control, and respecting the space of our cat and senior dog. This training has given us so much peace. Before walks were stressful and he would scuffle with our senior dog regularly. Since he’s been to training walking is peaceful again and we’ve had no fights with the senior dog. He listens when we tell him she needs a break and doesn’t bark at the cat anymore. I was nervous he would come home a robot, but he’s still his goofy, playful self; he’s just learned some self control. We’re so proud of him. Laura was our trainer. She and Nikki answered all of our questions and were very helpful in teaching us how to best communicate with our dog.

They helped me teach my dog Adonis and was super helpful. I did the board and train for 3 weeks and it was so worth it. He’s easy to walk, and is way better at coming to me. Would definitely recommend to anyone. The staff are also super sweet and helpful if I had any questions!
