😀 - Really lovely area to sit and catch your breath as you come into the Building and there are leaflets for activities that are close by. The Room was quirky and comfortable and a decent size. There was a fridge and fan in the room which were a huge bonus because it was a scorching hot weekend. Bed was comfortable. Nice toiletries in the ensuite. Tea and coffee tray in the room (with decent tea bags!). Excellent communication from the owners before and after check in. Parking permit in the welcome pack and suggestions for local eateries. Lovely walks close by. Would definitely stay here again

Dog friendly and little park opposite for walks, and shops, cashpoint and take aways/coffee shop just around the corner- we loved it and we will be back, thank you Carlton House for making us and Napoleon the French Bulldog so very welcome. 😞 - -

This was a last minute booking and was accommodated perfectly, the host were lovely very welcoming, the room was amazing bed sooo comfortable I didn’t want to get out of bed, great storage for clothes and 2 minutes walk to the front above Scarborough spa would definitely recommend

😀 - Easy to access, lots of useful stuff in the room including a fridge which was very useful. Very clean. Good communication from the guesthouse. Excellent location for the Scarborough Spa venue. The guest house provides complimentary ear plugs due to the noisy seagulls when you need to keep the window open. Plenty of on street parking in the adjoining roads (permit is a must). The Kin Cafe nearby is great for breakfast. 😞 - Downsides were very soft mattresses which isn't great for back problems. Could do with blackout blinds and a decent size shelf in the bathroom for washbags - had to balance both our washbags on the edge of the hand basin. It's also a shame that the lift is only for staff use (we were on the second floor, room 16). Bring an eye mask.

😀 - The beds are so comfortable. The shower was powerful and there was even a fridge!! 😞 - If there’s a fridge maybe put a microwave and some plates and cutlery and a bottle opener? Being as the fridge was so big the only things you can put in it is screwtop bottles and cans of drinks Apart from that it was great

Lovely weekend stay at the Carlton, our room ( 17 soft touch deluxe) was so nice, everything we needed even a fridge, comfortable bed, really quiet too, even received a message too asking if everything was ok! Would definitely recommend

Right near the sea front with clean rooms, the owner was lovely too. Our 2 puppies loved it because there was a park straight across the road. We will be going back 👍

Could not find a fault with anything.Very welcoming.Room was to a high standard. Silent fan in the room was perfect in the heatwave. Everything we needed was in walking distance.

😀 - The room was lovely, nice and clean. There was a fan in the room which was really helpful with the warm weather. It was our 2nd time coming here and have loved the place. We had an issue where the electric had tripped and the host was amazing and lovely and sorted the issue straight away. 😞 - Everything was perfect.
