I have visited various dentists over the years. Usually, I am given a mouth wash before the cleaning appointment, but this time I wasn't. I also usually receive trial-sized samples of a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss after the appointment, but I didn't get those either this time. I’ve lived in Portland for a long time, but this was a first for me. I wonder if she simply forgot, I’m Asian or if I was at fault for not asking.The dentist who treated me was pleasant, though. She’s nice.

Amanda is the best hygienist west of the Willamette River. If youwant your teeth "cleaned" and feel "refreshed" She is the one u need to schedule. Please don't waste your time going to some other amatuer. FPB

Gifford Family Dentistry is just that, a family business. They are all friendly, accommodating and helpful. The office is clean and inviting. They offer free lip balm for the taking to make your procedure easier. It’s a thoughtful touch.The dental hygienist, Amanda is especially good. She has a gentle but thorough approach with excellent communication.I highly recommend Gifford Family Dentistry.

Literally the BEST dental experience you could ever ask for. The whole office is great, warm, welcoming and knowledgeable! Amanda is such a great hygienist! Dr Schwab is the BEST dentist ever!! Filling. Crown. I was not looking forward to what would be over an two hours of prep, numbing shots, grinding, and ...ugh.I left feeling...Wow. That wasn't bad. Not bad at all. Beyond top notch competence... from everyone from the front desk to the Dr...I was treated like a cross between a favorite uncle and a favorite celeb. I'm giving 5 stars because there aren't 10.
