PMPA has been my second home for over 15 years. It has shaped me not only as a dancer but also a person, teaching me the importance of teamwork, dedication and resilience. The teachers are passionate and their endless wisdom supports every child’s dance journey at the school. Forever grateful to have this amazing environment and family in my life.

Both of my daughters attend Port Macquarie Performing Arts Studio, and we couldn’t be happier. It took a couple of studios before they both truly felt at home, especially after moving from Sydney and having a break in their dance journey. From the very beginning, PMPA made them feel so welcome.The teachers provided thoughtful guidance and suggestions to help them pick up their technique again, and the growth we’ve seen has been amazing. Their confidence and positive attitude have soared. It’s been beautiful to watch the PMPA family embrace my girls and offer the support and encouragement they need.Both of my daughters have made wonderful friends, and the entire dance family is incredibly supportive. We are truly blessed with the best teachers—and we haven’t looked back!

My daughter Emily has been at pmpa for 11years now she has always felt welcome, all the teachers are amazing especially Mr Pete and Mrs ange they care and want the best for each student, in Emily’s words for her submission for the dance training teacher program they offer at pmpa, just one of the amazing things they do, my dance journey has had highs and lows it has taught me determination and persistence to follow my passion. Emily started off in the twinkle toes program and not only has she has grown so much as a person and as a dancer, now has joined the IPP program this year. Endless opportunities at pmpa. PMPA has such a welcoming and nurturing atmosphere. The teachers are incredibly passionate and genuinely care about each dancer’s growth, both inside and outside of the studio. Everyone is so encouraging, making PMPA feel like one big family. Dancing there was always the highlight of my day, which is why I have been part of PMPA from the age of 3 all the way through to graduating. I am so grateful to be part of such a supportive community and to have PMPA as my second home ♡

My daughter's growth both technically in dance and also in confidence is a true testament to the dedicated team at PMPA.Miss Ange and Mr Pete are absolutely amazing. The care and support by all of the staff is something special. They really do want your child to succeed and do this not only by teaching, guiding and molding your child but by including parents in discussions and future directions.Don't even think about another dance school for your child! Their range and variety of classes is exceptional and the quality of teachers is by far the best you will ever find.My daughter will be forever grateful to PMPA xx

Being at PMPA for 10 years then graduating in 2024, I truly have never been apart of something so special. PMPA was always my second home growing up and provided me with incredible opportunities to grow not only as a dancer but as a person. I was able to be apart of the 2023 USA tour, 2018 Gold Coast Tour, and Showcase National Dance Championships 2023 and 2025. Not only did have I these amazing experiences, I also was able to work with industry professionals as teachers. The incredible teaching staff shaped who I am as a person, encouraged me to grow, they took my dance education seriously, and were there for me every step of the way. Even being an Alumni now I know PMPA is still my home away from home, and I can not recommend PMPA more to anyone looking for a studio.💙

Feeling very lucky that I came across Port Macquarie Performing Arts 4 years ago for my daughter. My daughter started with PMPA in twinkle toes when she was 4. PMPA is like a second home for my daughter, it's a wonderful dance community, that make you feel relaxed the moment you step in. The teachers are very committed, passionate and nurturing. My daughter has excelled in self confidence, and is developing fantastic skills in all genres of dance from jazz, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, tap, acro and even the occasional bollywood! She is given wonderful opportunities throughout the year to perform in stage productions, enter competitions within a group and as an individual, and takes part in the mid year and end of year concerts. I also love the fact they offer get togethers like movie nights, discos, dance days in the holidays with special guest teachers and even the occasional dance tour to the gold coast, developing deeper friendships and skills within the team. Its all very well organised. PMPA go above and beyond to make sure your child is happy, and get to know each child individually, and their communication and feedback is exceptional. Dance is the best part of my daughters week, I love watching my daughter grow with PMPA and can't wait to see what the future holds! Thank you PMPA!

We first went along to a Port Macquarie Performing Arts class when we were new to Port Macquarie & I was looking for an activity for my dance loving daughter, who was then almost 2. My daughter started dancing with PMPA then and absolutely fell in love, practicing the moves at home and making up her own dances.As she’s grown she’s moved up through the classes and has loved having the opportunity to learn the different dance genres alongside her peers under the instruction of incredible, talented teachers who really care about their students.Now 8, we’ve been attending PMPA over 6 years. I have made wonderful “dance Mum” friends too. The PMPA community is lovely, supportive, caring and inclusive for my AuDHD daughter.Her confidence has grown hugely with the experiences offered - from Eisteddfod performances to the PMPA stage shows.Thank you PMPA 💙
