Hi all,We wanted a new deck for our swimming pool. We already had the foundation woodwork. The shape of the deck is quite complex but we were impressed with the website endorsements of others who used Forsyth Construction as their builder.Heath Forsyth impressed us from the outset: articulate, knowledgeable, professional and polite. The quote was well set out and agreed to. A date was set for the work and they met it. They also set a start time for each day: and they met it (and trust us, that doesn't always happen in the trades).The deck was completed and we were/are very pleased with the finished job. Since then we have contracted with Forsyth Construction for some roof remedial work. Again, professional work done to a very high standard. (One minor issue done by one of the "subbies" was noticed by Heath; and it was resolved.)We have a complex older house and its good to have a building company we know we can turn to with confidence, in the future, if any need arose.Sandee and Bill Floyd,Blenheim. 2026.

The Forsyth Construction team helped us with the renovation of our bathroom and laundry. We are very happy with the result, schedule was kept on track and the communication was great.

Billy, Fenton and Lloydy did a great job..very tidy with picking up rivets and nails... saving punctures in vehicles and animals!So easy to have on site ... and professional workmanship.. Thankyou guys

I'm an owner from an apartment complex in Waikawa that has a shared leisure and pool area.After 30+ years of use a total renovation and maintenance of the pool area, including pump / bin sheds and fencing was given the green light.Heath (Forsyth Construction) was recommended by our main contractor, a local pool company.I've been involved with building / developing for over 40 years and I was given the project management job for thre reno by the other owners.Heath joined the project at very short notice accommodating a short lead in time and committing fully to the job.Communication with Heath and his team was always easy in general but particularly as we 'made up' a lot of the design as we went. I was completely involved with all decisions and we got the job done.Heath was contactable and punctual with a no nonsense 'there's always a solution' approach.It shows when staff respect their boss, it also shows when the site has a good 'feel' about it.For me having done lots of Project Management jobs I'd say Trust is at the top of my list for relationships with tradies.Heaths' personality, his work standards and his approach to building stand out through his honesty and caring about his family, his business and the families he employs.The service feels personal, hence trust.After service and follow up is excellent.I've already used Forsyth Construction since we finished the pool and will again when the time arises.Thanks for being part of the reno Heath, and thanks for being great to work with, made the job flow pretty well.
