Just based off his one on one encounters with dogs out in public, we weren’t sure at first if our little Didi would actually even enjoy doggy daycare but now when I say “Are you ready to go see friends at day care?” he can hardly contain himself! I know it’s because he not only gets tons of k9 socialization but the little themed activities are great for keeping him entertained and curious as well . And I never have to wonder if he’s truly enjoying himself because I see how engaged he is every visit from the photos the team uploads to the app. He loves it here and I appreciate everyone there for their time, love and attention they give our little guy!

My dog always has the most amazing time! He goes for Daycare, Day Training and Boarding. No matter what he always gets so excited when I drop him off and doesn’t want to leave when it’s time to pick him up. All the staff are amazing and communicate so well!

The training program at Rainier Dog Resort and Spa is amazing! Catherine is the ultimate dog whisperer. After just one session we saw significant changes in our dog’s behavior. They are especially careful about having dogs in smaller group play (6-10) and ease them into the pack over so many observations and visits. This is one of the BEST businesses I’ve ever interacted with in my entire life of 34 years. They genuinely care about the dogs but most of all the customers too. All of their staff are such outstanding people and they are always the best and most professional to work with. You can tell this business was built by dog people and has a passion for it, and it shows in their staff.Rainier Dog Resort is like Disneyland for our dogs during all of our life events. Whether we’re out of town, on vacation, going to a wedding, or having a baby (we’ve had 3!). They absolutely go above and beyond to make every single stay special. They take all of our instructions when our pets need medication given a certain way, or we have a request to be cleaned or groomed before being picked up. They always say yes with a big smile on their face and I don’t think I’ve ever heard them say no. Our dogs truly love their staff and get so excited every time we arrive at their gorgeous building.The attention to detail with the monthly themes is unreal. They decorate the building and the inside becomes a jungle of themes for the dogs. The pictures they send in the app WILL entertain you and your family while you are out of town! The scavenger hunts and play is second to none.Some personal stories, we have had 2 babies while attending here as customers, and one of the scariest moments of our lives when one of our children almost died. They were nothing but accommodating and understanding during incredibly difficult times. They were able to be flexible with a clearly not so flexible schedule. They have taken care of us time and time and time again. The owners have even surprised us with a gift for our new baby and a box full of diapers. My wife and I were absolutely blown away. They even do fundraisers for communities all over and help people and animals all around.I mean it when I say it, this one of the BEST businesses I have ever had the pleasure to be a customer of. I do not say this lightly.My only critiques if you want them are:1) it is obviously more expensive than some other places BUT we tried it and never turned back. We have become willing to always make it work because of how incredible this place is.2) The photos in the app are difficult to save since you have to do it one by one, and often the hold down button often gets messed up. But this is if I’m really trying to find something wrong.We WILL be lifelong customers here and I look forward to recommending this business to everyone I know. They were thorough in screening my dog to ensure a good fit before a relatively long period of boarding, offered great suggestions and feedback on how to make the time there valuable for my dog, and treated her with obvious affection and care. One year later still have my dog,now 3.5 y) here for day camp and it continues to be a treat for him and me. As many of the reviews mention, the facility, the activities, plans and most of all the staff. How lucky to have this here. He had his nails done here which looked great and today his first full grooming after he jumped in mud pools in the mountains. He smells fresh, is fluffy, clean, and looks amazing. While huskies keep themselves quite clean and generally dont smell, this treatment is one to do again! Thank you. You are all around wonderful and caring.2025I have had my 2.5 year old Husky once a week at day camp for playtime and recently 2 nights boarding. I really like the place and people. It is all positive based which is important to me and there are lots of cool add-ons to keep the dogs busy. My dog is used to lots of hiking and some running. The activities/enrichment and playtime are perfect substitutes for a few days. I also appreciated the caring and patience when there were lots of questions from a nervous dog parent before boarding. Lots of pictures are provided during their stay. I will board here again and my dog approves also. Thank you staff for what you do.

Our pup went through the six week basic manner course and it was excellent! She learned so much, despite being the youngest in class. Keely was amazing to work with and Prius loves her. She learned Sit, stay, lay down, shake, and some loose leash walking. Also basics of leave it or drop it, and mat training. Highly recommend!

The staff so far has been great with communication! I have reservations to board my dogs for the first time for a couple of days and feel very comfortable my 3 dogs will be well taken care. My own personal anxiety of leaving them anywhere for the first time is what’s killing me.My wife and I did put our male dog through a training class. My only problem with the class is how loud some of the dogs would bark so it made it difficult to get clear directions from the instructor. I would recommend maybe a Bluetooth speaker and headset so directions can be heard more clearly.My only other issue is how expensive this it will be for me to board 3 dogs. Once I toured the facility, my wife and I felt our dogs would be taken care in a professional manner. The facility is very well kept up and the staff seems to have a really good grasp for being organized with each pet and their needs.Looking forward to a weekend getaway with my wife and son, but sad I’m leaving my dogs.

Rainier Dog Resort and Spa was amazing while we were away. They took great care of our three dogs, Ghost, Buddy, and Hero, including our dog with vestibular disease. Also, Michelle for their excellent communication, as well as the entire team. Everyone was kind, caring, and treated our dogs like family. Communication is very important to me, and they kept us updated the whole time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My mini dachshund Gracie and I enjoyed our series of puppy classes at Ranier Dog Resort. Keely, the trainer, was patient with us and explained so much about how puppies think and learn. Her passion for dogs and for training was evident. There was a different focus each week and also socialization for my puppy. This was also a good introduction to the resort and all of the services they offer. Their facility is beautiful and well run. We will definitely be signing up for future training classes. We have been bringing our 6 year old, Buddy, to Rainier Dog Resort for a little over 6 months now, and he absolutely loves it! My husband and I moved cross country and were nervous to start him at a new daycare (he loved his old place so much!) but were so happy to find this place.Buddy was a little shy at first but has truly come out of his shell while staying here - he now loves going so much that when we say he’s going to, “camp” he starts wagging his tail before we even go out the door. We love the photo updates we get while he is there—he seriously looks so happy playing with his friends. We also appreciate how they have him playing in a group of dogs in a similar temperament, and he loves all of the scent work! They’ve also groomed him and he always smells so great after. Would highly recommend Rainier Dog Resort to anyone looking for a place who absolutely cares for every dog who walks through the door.

In every interaction I have with the staff, I can tell they love each of the dogs and want to see them all suceed in their own ways. I've been bringing my anxious rescue puppy to Rainier for several weeks, and the changes are already remarkable. She has a difficult past and is very fearful of traffic and urban noise, which makes things like neighborhood walks and dog parks not viable right now. For a nine-month-old with energy to burn, that's a real challenge.Rainier has been the perfect solution. Their program balances enrichment activities, structured playtime, and rest. She loves other dogs, and having supervised playgroups where she can safely socialize has been invaluable. She knows exactly where we're headed every morning, greets the team with enthusiasm, and comes home happy and tired.I'm hopeful her continued time here will help her grow into a confident dog who sees the world as a safe place. I am updating my review a year later because I just have to share that I would give this place 100 stars if I could. Our pup got sick during our recent vacation and the staff at this location was so thoughtful and thorough. Each time she had a vomiting incident they immediately took her temperature, checked her gums and belly, and sent us a picture with detailed information about what happened and discussed their care plan with us. They adjusted her activities and diet to be sensitive to her needs and went above and beyond to care for our girl, without charging us an extra dime. The manager even stayed late to meet us when we flew home early to talk through what had happened and recommendations for continued care, and also requested info from our vet in the future so they can keep their records up to date. It was such an immense relief to know our girl was in their care while we were so far away. Do not hesitate to trust your beloved pet family members with the staff here, they are exceptional!Previous Review: I cannot say enough good things about Rainier Dog Resort & Spa. We just picked our dog up from her evaluation appointment and have had an absolutely perfect experience. We’ve had a negative boarding experience in the past so wanted to do an eval with a new place before planning a trip and I am so grateful we found this place. The photos they share throughout the day put your mind at ease, their set up and schedule is thoughtful and focused on dog well-being and needs, and they think of every little detail. Our dog is basically our kiddo and I feel so much relief to have found such an amazing team of people who really love dogs and treated our pup with such care! It was so great we’re considering taking our pup in for daycare in addition to boarding because of their awesome group play and enrichment programs. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!
