GH Cedar Park is such a cool spot. Dropped in while in town, and the crew is super welcoming. Professor Pat broke down some fun techniques and high percentage counters. Rounds were super tough. Can’t wait to be back, and bring my daughters to check it out next time.

Gracie Humaita was a great place to train. Tim Kennedy was very hospitable and encouraged me to drop in. The facilities are outstanding, exceptionally clean and well laid out. Giancarlo Bodoni was the instructor and it is a testament to the school when world champs are teaching the class. I would definitely recommend trying classes her if you are local or dropping in for world class training if you are in the area

My entire family started our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey here. Highly recommend for newcomers and experienced grapplers. We’re all a year + on the mats now and still love the people and the facility. The kids coaches are amazing and encouraging. My son started at 4 years old and now at 6 years old has amazing confidence! I personally started with the free women’s classes and now am I full member. Can’t praise this gym enough!

I was in the Austin area for business. I dropped in for the no-gi fundamentals class (fee around $30). Everyone there was friendly and professional. A very welcoming environment. And Coach Jon was awesome. He was clear in his instruction and attentive to the students during the drilling. I was able to apply the technique he taught right away at my home gym. It makes me wish I could train there regularly. Keep up the good work!

Visited Austin from Long Island NY for a bachelor party. I carved out one of the AMs to grab a class GH Cedar Park. Jason and the team were extremely welcoming and engaging. Learned some awesome technique and was able to grab merch on my way out - can’t wait to come back.

Earned my purple belt at Gracie Humaita. This gym is high level, huge shoutout to all of the coaches, yall are amazing. Practice partners are great, tough safe rolls all around regardless of belt rank. Nice balance of Gi and No Gi classes. Mats are constantly cleaned, and even the restrooms are spotless.They have classes all throughout the day, morning/noon/evening so you really have no excuse not to be able to train. This gym also offers woman only classes (took my girlfriend to one and she loved it). Don’t forget about Hero’s Jiu Jitsu free to veterans, and first responders every friday at noonOnly recommendation I’d make is an open mat on Sundays, but regardless this is a very well ran school and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

You have to experience Jason’s take down class on Wednesday mornings. We have elite level instructors in Giancarlo, Chon, and several others teaching competitive ground game but if you don’t take your opponent down and start on top in a match you are behind the curve. You will get a great workout, irreplaceable knowledge in stand up technique, and join a wonderful community if you come to the morning classes. Give it a try, you might learn something about yourself.

I started training here in May as someone totally new to jiujitsu and any mat sports for that matter. GHCP has been such a lovely community to start training at. The instructors are great and work with you, regardless of your level of training. As one of them said “we all started as white belts.” I also love the array of classes (beginners, fundamentals, Womens only, etc.)Great gym tan by awesome people who are dedicated to helping people learn jiujitsu.

I did 10 hours of Jiu-Jitsu in 2 days this weekend as part of the Sheepdog Response Protector 1 course. The mats are smooth texture with springboard underneath, which my old bones appreciated. World class instructors and facility. Staff at the front desk was helpful, welcoming, and friendly. Being a novice at BJJ, it was intimidating to step onto the mat; however, the level of detail from the instructors in the way of both execution and safety was very much appreciated and calmed the nerves pretty quickly. The team empowered me to continue my BJJ journey moving forward. I live 50 minutes south of this facility but I will surely still make the drive to drop in from time to time when my schedule allows it. Top notch all around. Thanks y’all!
