We had such a great experience at Trillium Dentistry with our daughter’s filling. She’s had a lot of anxiety around dental work in the past, but Dr. Shamji and his team were wonderful at keeping her calm and explaining everything along the way. Dr. Shamji took the time to walk us through a few treatment options, gave us his honest recommendation, and really worked with us to find what was best for our daughter and what she was comfortable with. She did so well with the laughing gas and stayed calm throughout the entire procedure, which was a huge relief for us!We’re so grateful for the patience, kindness, and care shown by the entire team. Highly recommend Trillium, especially for children who may be anxious about dental visits!

I went to this dental clinic if I recall correctly at the end of 2023/beginning of 2024. I was originally eager, as the patient forms showed potential of being very queer inclusive, asking pronouns and preferred gender etc. they also took patients on disability which is rare. When I came in for my appointment, despite having filled out all the proper documentation showing my pronouns and gender, I was repetitively misgendered the entire appointment. The doctor I saw, Shamji, also took it upon himself to tell me about how they “dont have to serve those on assistance, but do so as a service to the community.” Okay? Why did you feel the need to tell a disabled person that, and basically insinuate that we don’t necessarily need dental care because of our financial situation (that we have no control over!) he also very passive aggressively asked if I was “willing to put ANY money into my dental care”, as if it’s an active choice to barely be able to afford basic necessities let alone what should be necessary dental care.Thankfully I have found another, kinder and more compassionate dentist office that I actually feel welcome going to. Im sure if you’re above low income and not on the queer spectrum, you will be met better than I was. Would not recommend this office to anyone

Went to see dr. Shamji yesterday for a very complicated upper molar extraction. The tooth was causing me so much pain and discomfort and when I went to a different dental office than the one I was normally going to, the lady there said she wasn’t comfortable doing the extraction herself and she referred me to dr. Shamji. The roots were very long and impacted (curved/bent) and were less than 3mm away from my sinus. Had it been done by the wrong hands it could have been a lifelong disaster.Searched up the dentist who would be doing the extraction and he had really good reviews so I thought screw it, we’ll see how it goes. I’ve been scarred by less-than-ethical and/or unskilled dentists in the past so I was very weary. But let me tell you…this guy is a superstar. Got that bad boy out without even breaking it (I’m still in shock at how he pulled it out) and even the dental assistant in the room with him commented “I’ve never seen a tooth so impacted come out like that”. There was a little bit of sinus exposure which is pretty unavoidable in situations like mine but by the next morning it’s healing up very well and I couldn’t have asked for a better result. I can’t say I’ve come across a more skilled oral surgeon and if you’re in his hands, you’re in good hands for sure. 10/10

As a foreigner here from Canada visiting my wife’s family I couldn’t explain to you how friendly and welcoming Dr. Ashish Bhalerao and the rest of the staff were to me. They fixed my tooth problem and after 35 years I can finally smile with confidence. I highly recommend this Dental Clinic and again thank you Dr. Ashish and the rest of the staff for all you have done for me. I am forever grateful 🙏- Damien-

I was very happy and pleased with Nimmy she made me feel extremely comfortable and constantly checked on my well-being and Dr.Shamji was amazing and pulled 5 teeth in about 5 minutes or so completely pain free and kept asking me how I was doing if I felt any pain what to do in response to such pain. They both conversed with me and it was very nice and made me feel comfortable. Due to the excellent experience for the second time now and both of which were done flawlessly and I will be keeping this practice as my permanent go to.

Needed an urgent appointment and they fit me in the same evening! Sylvia and Dr Satinder Kalher helped me, explained everything they needed to do, and were very friendly all along. The front desk was kind, friendly and welcoming, and they billed directly to my insurance!Highly recommend! This will be my new go-to place for orthodontic issues.

I recently had a minor oral procedure here, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff was friendly, especially Doctor Shamji. They were informative throughout the process and while answering all of my questions.

Hello, my name is ARYANKUMAR PATEL,This was my very first dental visit in Canada, and I chose Trillium Dental Care based on their excellent Google reviews. I was a little nervous since I had never visited a dentist in Canada before, but my experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed warmly and professionally by the receptionist, which immediately put me at ease. Nimmy then guided me through the entire process. She took all of my X-rays with great care and professionalism, and I truly appreciated how patient and attentive she was. She took the time to listen to all of my concerns and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment.Dr. Shamji was equally outstanding. He was kind, honest, professional, and exceptionally knowledgeable. His expertise and genuine care were evident from the moment we spoke. I honestly don't have enough words to express how impressed I was with him. He made me feel confident about my dental health and completely changed what could have been a stressful experience into a very positive one.Thank you to the entire team at Trillium Dental Care for providing such excellent care and making my first dental visit in Canada such a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for compassionate and professional dental care.

Well I used to love this place but after a few bad experiences. I won't go back. Had some work done on what was described as a must be done procedure. Went under the gum to complete. Ended up with a serious infection on vacation called the off ice and did get so.e antibiodics that did t work. Ended up at kincarden hospital and lost the tooth anyways. They put a crown on a tooth that had a pin thru it. This lasted about a year and a bit. Got a terible infection and lost the tooth. No warranty work. It's like oh well thanks for the 2000. But the best is that they decided to drill into another crown without consulting me. They tried to put a filling in it. This lasted about an hour. Just in for a checkup and they had the balls to tell me. I have a cavity in my crown. One of the dentists gave me a needle in my mouth I've never been in so much agony in my life. No need for a person to be kicking in the chair. So here I am missing teeth. They will not come good for either crown and I basically got thrown out of the office when I told him that he's a barbarian with the needle. Lots of dentists around not going back here for any reason

I’ve been to many dental offices over the years, but this clinic truly stands out as the best in Waterloo. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a warm, welcoming team that makes you feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. The staff are always friendly, professional, and organized, which makes every visit smooth and stress-free.What really sets Dr. Shamji apart is how much he goes above and beyond for his patients. Staff takes the time to explain everything clearly, answer questions without rushing, and ensure you feel confident about your care. It never feels like you’re just another appointment on the schedule—they truly prioritize your comfort and long-term dental health. The office itself is exceptionally clean, modern, and well-maintained, which adds to the overall positive experience. You can tell there’s a strong commitment to both hygiene and quality.Whether it’s a routine check-up or a more involved procedure, the level of care and attention to detail is consistently outstanding. If you’re looking for a dentist in Waterloo who combines expertise with genuine compassion, I couldn’t recommend this clinic more highly.

I recently visited Trillium Dental Centre as a new patient, and I had a truly excellent experience. The entire team was professional, attentive, and welcoming.During my first visit, Kristina helped scan my teeth for my Invisalign treatment. She was extremely careful and thorough, making detailed notes and ensuring that my dentist received all the necessary scan data.On my second visit, Jack provided an amazing dental cleaning. He was very professional, and the whole process was comfortable—I didn’t feel any discomfort at all. After the cleaning, I could clearly see in the mirror how much brighter and cleaner my teeth looked. He also took the time to explain helpful dental care tips, which I really appreciated.I found everyone at the clinic to be professional and friendly. I would highly recommend Trillium Dental Centre to anyone looking for high-quality dental care.

Trillium Dental Centre has the best and awesome Dentist, as well as all the staffs and hygienist, they’re all friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Rifaan Lalji and Dr. Hussein to all the people I know. I thought Root canal is scary and painful, but they just prove me wrong. It was smooth and pain less when they’ve done to me. Your teeth will definitely in goods hands with them, based on my experience. 👌
