Where do I start? Well we need some AC repair, according to another company. I wanted a second opinion. So I got on YELP, and read a lot of different reviews with a lot of different companies. And when I read Scott Heady Ac & heating, I knew this company was for us. I called and first talked to Marissa, whom set all the appts. And very helpful. And then I received a call from Scott. Wow, what a cool glass of water...he explained what he wanted to do, and check, before even being here. He really knows his stuff, and let's not forget his apprentice Joaquin. Who has so much knowledge for an apprentice. We had Scott here, did his thing, and told us what he thought would work, and NOT have to replace the AC, because last year, a company replaced the heater, and this year wanted us to replace the AC unit. When thats not even the problem. We received a quote from Scott, and a week later agreed to his quote Well they showed up on Tuesday, and like magic, they did the repair, and were done and out the door on Friday So happy with what they did, and would have Scott Heady AC back out here over and over. They definitely know their stuff, and can explain it to you, and have you understand exactly what they'll do.Thank you so much Marissa, Scott, and Joaquin. I got multiple bids for a complete HVAC and ductwork overhaul. Scott Heady was the only one that spent the time to really map out the best solution for my house. Instead of leading with “specs” like the other guys did, Scott focused on long-term energy savings and best air quality which was super important for me since I have always had humidity problems because of all the aquariums I have in the house. Do not make the rookie mistake of chasing the lowest bid. You get what you pay for, and I definitely got my moneys worth with Scott.

For the last three years we have been having Freon leaks on a new HVAC unit and the person that installed it was unable to locate it.Scott Heady located The leak pressurized the system after he repaired it to make sure there were no other leaks and proceded to add the necessary Freon. Scott’s dedication and professionalism to this Industry made it a very positive experience for me. I didn’t feel that I was getting ripped off like other times from other techs, he went to the source of the Problem and repaired it the correct way. I would absolutely recommend Scott Heady air-conditioning to anyone that needs service for their HVAC. True professional straight forward and honest.

Scott was called due to the system not functioning. Turns out it was a rare electrical issue. Scott worked tirelessly and had the system back up and running in 2 days having to get a new blower and having it programmed for our unit from the factory. We never worry about our HVAC system. It’s fairly new and know that Scott will always keep our equipment in top shape.

I had the chance to meet Scott when I was searching for someone who could fix my hvac problems correctly. I had just had $30k worth of brand new hvac work done (by let’s call them Shush) it didn’t solve my problem, though Shush was very nice and aside from not resolving my issue was generally professional. Short version, we removed $15k in new equipment and made the system work properly. $15k worth of system is still sitting in my backyard btw.I had just moved to the Riverside area and was recommended to use Shush. I kept asking questions because something didn’t make sense and got the usually, I have been doing this 30 yrs blah blah blah. I’m a very logical and facts based person but the recommendation came from my old hvac guy who was now out of my area so I went with it.I called around after the install when no solution could be found reasonably with Shush. Several companies could not give a solution that made sense to me, when I called Scott’s number. I asked if they had someone who could explain to me what is going on and how I needed the solution expressed to me. Scott came the next day walked through the solution logically with the math and the science of hvac in detail that I could verify independently. It confirmed what I already suspected, as with most systems these days, ducting/system equipment wasn’t sized correctly so my brand new system was choking itself out and for the same money (actually less) done right 95% of my problems would be solved. To be 100% solved it would have been the same total price just correct equipment and install.I have worked with several hvac contractors personally and professionally as a GC. Scott stands out as someone who I trust above the rest. The systems we have installed personally and professionally have all been above the comprehension of 99% of the contractors out there and I haven’t had any problems, neither have my customers once the project is completed.Bottom line, no one creates or installs systems like Scott. Done correctly these systems last decades. You risk a system that is straining itself, improper equipment, or incorrect installation using anyone else.Thank you Scott, I greatly appreciate and value your help and knowledge over the past several years.

We had an issue with our upstairs furnace not turning on. Scott was able to come to us same day to assess the problem. Not only was he knowledgeable, he was incredibly honest. He pointed out the issues and explained everything down to the operations and safety of the system (that a layperson like me was able to understand).
