Update, 11/2025:Thanks to Dr. Rob, I ran my first marathon. Some backstory- I worked with him for some time before he relocated, which was super disappointing as he was hands down the best PT I’ve worked with. Because of my schedule, I wasn’t able to train nearly as much as I should have to compared to when I wanted to run the NYC marathon last year, which I ultimately had to defer. Due to that lack of training and by being overly aggressive to catch up, some new injuries popped up, particularly some pretty bad tibial tendinitis that set my training back considerably. However, I utilized the exercises and corrections Dr. Rob had taught me to fix my gait and maximize my performance output to get the most out of my mechanics, allowing me to somehow run the marathon pain free. I focused on what he taught me the entire race-Even more remarkable was that aside from some tired legs, I was totally injury free after, and I’m quite injury prone. Had Dr. Rob not worked with me to tune my mechanics and address my strength and mobility imbalances, I would never have been able to do this. I even came in under my target time. He spends time to listen to your concerns and then focuses on finding the root causes, not just treating the injury or symptoms- he’ll go further to establish what causes the injury to begin with. You’ll get 100% individualized attention here whereas other clinics the PT may have multiple patients at once. I’ve made noticeable improvements in my running thanks to him and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.
