Places like this are why we travel. You can't find food like this at reasonable rates in the cities anymore. Plus the service and the people just don't compare. The food was fantastic. The ribs, the brisket, and the smoked turkey might have been the best I've ever had. Do yourselves a favor and come grab a plate, you'll be glad you did.

Great food. It was busy when we got there, but the wait was less than 10 minutes. Kid, friendly indoor, and outdoor seating. This is One of our favorite restaurants in the area. It never disappoints. Love the banana pudding!

Told us it was gonna be 20-25 minute wait, we got seated In less that 10 min! We ordered our food and drinks as soon as we set down and I didn't even have time to ask what type of BBQ sauce they had before they we're throwing mountains of meat in front of us. This was the best BBQ I have tasted. The staff was friendly and serve as super. We were on a train ride and they got us sat and fed with no delays. Will definitely be trying one of their other locations soon. Only complaint was that I did not get some BBQ to take home with me.

The banana pudding alone was worth the 30+ min wait! We dined over WCU parents weekend and understood the wait and how busy everything was. Excellent job on keeping it moving! Food was outstanding and quick once we got seated. Service was very spotty. Drink refills, sauce refills and getting the check was a hassle. Once inside it’s open but chaotic. The parking situation isn’t ideal and almost deterred us. Would definitely come back on a “regular” day.

My husband and I traveled from our day trip in Cherokee to eat here. I had previously eaten here the last few years and it was very good. The only reason I am leaving a negative review is because the food made my husband very sick. The food, service and atmosphere were great! 4 hours after leaving, my husband got very nauseous and proceeded to violently vomit on the way back home. I’m concerned because I’ve seen more than a handful of comments mentioning the same thing. I’ve seen replies mentioning that orders of meat, sides and other menu items are served by the pounds. That makes me wonder if there is someone cooking or serving that is unclean? If it’s not the food then what is it? I’m so disappointed to write such a bad review but my husband was violently ill after leaving. It’s just a concern and unfortunately we will not be returning. I would like to recommend this restaurant to others but I’m concerned for other customers as well. I’m also not impressed on how the replies to comments are handled. Other customers are mentioning they became ill and the manager is stating that the food is the culprit only if they became sick 4-6 hours after eating? That’s not professional and it’s concerning as well.
