I came in with a sore neck that had been bothering me for a few days. My first appointment with Dr. Favro was an intake appointment in which he learned about my issue and tried several methods of pain relief, and later appointments were targeted chiropractic treatment. He was able to relieve my pain in 2 sessions, adapt to my needs and preferences, and support me through a few more sessions to make sure I was on a good path. Everyone there is super nice: Dr. Favro, the folks at the desk, the interns, etc. Interns sometimes observe appointments but are not at all disruptive to the process. Turning Point was a little hard for me to find the first time I came, but the person at the desk when you enter is also helpful and can give directions. Dr. Adam is a miracle worker! I developed severe tendinitis in my foot just a few days before a family trip to Disney (I could hardly walk and was in a boot - full on panic with Disney looming). Anti-inflammatories and even a podiatrist visit yielded little to no results, but after a few sessions with Dr. Adam I not only was walking again but also pain free! I recently developed a sudden TMJ disorder out of the blue. I had never felt such intense, excruciating jaw pain in my life. There was no trauma to my face, I didn’t chew incorrectly, and previous to this sudden pain I had no change in lifestyle at all. It truly came out of nowhere. I have been experiencing terrible heel pain for months now. I called this office up and they were able to see me within a few days. I know this is going to take many treatments to fix but after one treatment with Dr. Adam my heel is at least 60% better after leaving his office yesterday was the first day I was able to work a full day in months (without having to stop every 10 minutes to stretch my heel) I even worked an extra couple hours because my foot felt so good. I have been dealing with debilitating chronic neck and back pain for the past three years. I have met with several other chiropractors, two orthopedic surgeons, a neurologist, a pain management doctor, and did twice weekly physical therapy for over a year. I have tried massage, acupuncture, Rolfing, Myofascial release, lidocaine injections, cervical traction, STEM and countless other at home remedies to relieve the pain. While the pain would temporarily improve, it never went away completely. Managing the pain was extremely time consuming and frustrating. Dr. Favro took a different approach. He spent a lot of time explaining, in detail, the anatomy and body mechanics that were contributing to my problem. He gave me a few simple exercises to do at home and helped me improve my posture. Understanding how to properly do the exercises, how to do adjust my posture and how all of the small details were connected made all the difference. His adjustments were also very effective!
