Paws and Claws

There are not enough words to express the amazingness of Paws and Claws and the wonderful staff. I have been boarding my Mini Aussie with them for a while and I have loved how well my overly active doggie is loved on. Recently I became home to my late mom's dog and needed to board my dog sister for a planned trip and had a lot of nerves building (not because of any doubt in Paws and Claws... just being overly protective of my dog sister and not sure how she would adapt to a new setting) in introducing my dog sister to a lot of new dogs and worried about how her lack of social skills would play out. On top of being nervous about how my dog sister would adjust, I was experiencing a lot of guilt with boarding the doggies over my dog sister's 6th birthday. The wonderful men and women of Paws and Claws reassured me that my dog sister would do just fine, would be in great hands, and that I was able to call whenever I needed to get updates on how the two dogs were doing. I waited until two days passed before I called for an update on my dog sister (out of fear of being "that" dog owner. lol) and the update I got was wonderful, I was able to hear everything said over the radio from the staff in the big dog play lot, was told that my dog sister was making friends, had a wonderful birthday and enjoyed the birthday treat that I packed for her. I was able to enjoy the rest of my trip and not worry one bit about how my two dogs were doing and how my dog sister was adjusting. As a dog owner, having a place where you can trust the staff 100% with the love and care of your dog is amazing. As a young adult who is processing the sudden passing of a parent, while adjusting to life with your parents pet and comforting your parents pet, having a place filled with kind hearted men and women who share the same amount of love and who promise to treat your dogs as if they were their own, fills the heart with joy and eyes with the best type of tears.I recommend Paws and Claws to every single person I encounter who is needing a place for their fur babies to board and play.
