In the spring of 2021, we had a pond with a salmon fountain put built in our back yard. We purchased to fountain from a dealer in Santa Fe, NM and had Father Nature, a local landscaping company build the pond and the surrounds. They did a wonderful job and gave us a 3-year warranty on the work they did, which included purchasing and installing the pump for the fountain. At the end of the second year, we had some problems with the inner workings of the fountain which had 8 salmon spouting water. So, the fountain was nonoperational for about 9 months. Once we had the fountain repaired and tried to hook it back up to the pump, the pump was not working correctly. We notified Father Nature and were politely told our warranty expired. I appealed and was told that someone would contact me. I was contacted by the owner, Chris Scheer, the next day. After hearing my story, he told me he would be out in 45 minutes. He showed up and we discussed the pump and then he pointed out some other things that needed to be made better. Within a few short weeks, all was better to include an new pump. All at no charge. We contacted Father Nature to draw up a complete backyard renovation design for us, which included a 80 ft long retaining wall. Bruno, one of their designers met with us. He listen to what we were looking for, gave us additional ideas and in about 10 days presented us with a great plan. with an itemized proposal. We contacted two other landscaping companies, one who passed, as the job was beyond what they could do, and another that wasn't as responsive or as impressive as Bruno and Father Nature's plan. Father Nature just completed a hardscaping project for us which included completely reconstructing a front walkway, steps and porch, installing beautiful new flagstones, as well as removing 60 year old foundation shrubs and building a new raised bed planter.
