I started this journey wanting to find an answer for a large weight gain (15 lbs in under 2 years). There were things I knew I could do better, but it was alarming how quickly the scale was going up, even after trying to make changes. And I was determined to not follow the latest trend in weight loss because I wanted to make healthy lifelong choices/changes. I had read how being post menopausal could have an impact on weight gain, and I asked my regular doctor about it. After being given nutritional information, followed by labs to check thyroid levels (which came back normal), I was left with no answers. I dug in and did extensive research to find someone who would have a different approach. Enter Skinny Seattle!!!🙌 Dr. Mary took the time to help me understand the results of extensive blood work (first step of the program) and how it impacted me individually. The videos she has put together were also very informative. Next, I would meet Cait, who would coach me in every phase and step. Cait is so encouraging, knowledgeable and quickly responds to all questions…such an important person in my success! Here I am today, 4 months later and 20 lbs lighter with the tools to maintain a healthy life!
