The transformation with my dog has been night and day since I started the training at Got Sit. My dog always had an issue with jumping on people when they came in the door, pulling hard on the leash when going on walks, having no personal boundaries with people or dogs, and anxiety. I reached a point of frustration because I did not understand how to help him behave the way I wanted him to, and did not know how to fix the behaviors that I know I instilled in him over the years.Since working with Komal and AJ they have helped me, not only with correcting the behaviors that my dog was needing help in, but in connecting with my dog in a way I did not know was possible. I learned how to meet my dog’s needs, which in turn made him trust in me and listen more intently to what I was asking of him.I now can have people walk in without having to hold him back from jumping on them. My arm has no tension when I walk him, because he now walks at my side. He doesn’t feel the need to be next to everyone all the time and bothering them while they are eating. I was scared to even go out with him because he has such a high energy and is hard to control. Now I feel confident in him, and myself, to go to new places because I know he will listen to me.I highly recommend Got Sit Dog Training, if you are looking for a chance to understand your dog and how to communicate with them in a way that they feel seen and secure. We worked with Komal and Jeff with our almost 3-year-old Goldendoodle, Doc, and the transformation has been incredible.We were on a very tight timeline because our family is moving to Spain in just a few weeks, so we needed to make as much progress as possible before bringing Doc overseas. He instantly bonded with our under socialized anxious St. Bernard and immediately addressed the problems we were experiencing with introducing a giant breed to a new world. We adopted a 4 year old Saint Bernard that weighs 150 pounds and had zero training or socialization. He was very reactive to people and other dogs on walks. He would pull constantly on walks. He hated his kennel. He would refuse to get on his new raised cot bed.After a couple of lessons we noticed drastic improvement. He loves going and laying in his kennel. His raised cot bed is one of his favorite places to be. As far as walks go, it's a night and day difference. He sits instantly, a lot of times without being told. He heels much better. He is far less reactive to other dogs, and we feel way more comfortable walking him in crowded situations that we would not have dreamed of doing before we started this training.Going with Got Sit to train our dog has been the best decision we have made. AJ has been amazing. He is extremely friendly and fair, with just the right amount of firmness and critiques to the client. AJ makes you want to put in the effort. The hints and tricks we learned by listening to him and watching the way he handles our dog have been a game changer. It has made it fun to do training exercises in our home. Walks have become much more enjoyable. Not only because our dog is much calmer and more disciplined, but it's exciting to see him get a little better with each walk. I adopted my first dog from a shelter and unfortunately he is very anxious and the treat based training only got us so far. So then I started to make his world very small because I wanted everyone safe. That did not help either of us! But after just a few sessions with Komal, our trainer, there is a lot more trust between my dog and myself. I was also impressed that Komal, did not just label my dog aggressive, but took the time to work with him a little instead of going off my dog’s initial reaction. We signed up for Got Sit Training three days after we adopted our mastiff, Dexter; he was one year and seven months old, excitable, and stubborn. We had our consultation with AJ, who immediately made us feel comfortable regarding our worries of training our dog. He laid everything out clearly, patiently answered all our questions, and met Dexter, who proceeded to try to tackle him in an aggressive hug (he now waits for permission before greeting). We have had six training sessions, one a week, and the difference in Dexter is remarkable! Dexter is now able to walk calmly next to us without a tight leash, can pass by dogs without trying to run towards them every time, is learning greeting manners, and is still learning more. These training sessions taught us how to teach Dexter. The trainers we worked with, AJ and Komal, always made training sessions fun for us and Dexter. We had training sessions at our home and at public parks in the real world. The trainings are catered to what you and your furry buddy need. I can’t say enough about the trainers at Got Sit Training. Whatever training you’re looking for, they can provide.

We purchased a training package with Got Sit for our nearly two-year-old pup, who struggled with impulse control and got overwhelmingly excited around new people and during walks.Each session introduced new skills that built on what we’d already learned, and—most importantly—we had the opportunity to practice them with guidance. These guys are amazing. We have 3 dogs. A bassett, corgi and yorkipoo. We were having trouble with the bassett counter surfing, or corgi was very fearful and would act aggressive. Thanks to all the training and wonderful tips our dogs have manners and much more confidence. We can go for walks with no pulling (very little barking) and they are more relaxed with each other at home.
