From the start, Tiana made the online booking so easy. We were travelling late and the communication throughout our journey was amazing - when we arrived at the gates, everything was ready for us.We had the most beautiful, peaceful stay. There are horses, breathtaking mountain views, and total tranquility. The service is truly amazing - they cleaned the place while we were out and whenever we needed anything, someone was always available to help. I honestly never felt like I needed anything else, I felt right at home.The mountain views alone are worth the trip. I only wish we could have stayed much longer! Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

We truly enjoyed our stay in the camping area. The bathrooms were clean and the view was divine. The sunrise was something special. People who moan about Wifi and how it looks compared to the website should maybe open their eyes to see the beauty of it all. The horses and the ponies are too cute and one particular dog adopted me. I felt so special. 🥰

I have been to Old Mill Drift twice in the last few years and the stay has always been nothing short of outstanding. Set far enough away from civilisation nestled in the Mountains on a horse farm, you cannot help but immediately feel at home in your chalet in the countryside property. We specifically go hiking as there a multiple options to choose from on the property easy strolls to heart pumping up the mountain ascents.The chalets are beautifully decorated and maintained, the management taking care to make sure you have enough wood (and Wi-Fi if needed) and small comforts like extra blankets to keep you toasty and warm if you visit in winter.For what you pay for Old Mill Drift FAR exceeds expectations and is a must if you are into hiking, country living and old school charm.

Spent three nights here, a really magical get away, it's far enough from town that the stars come out for photography, but close enough that a trip to town isn't that much of a headache. The hiking is fantastic, you are able to get high up to see all the mountains and they're pet friendly. If you enjoy solitude and adventure with the dogs make sure you give this a try.All the people were amazing, will definitely be back.

Thay event went extra for you and theyTake very good care of your pets well you are away wen you can't te them with you . They make very siten that thay are safe and geve them water . My goodness- this place is honestly magical! I have never seen scenery like this before, it honestly took our breath away!The owners/ staff were very accommodating and we felt part of the furniture from the day we arrived.There is so much to see and explore.The two houses we stayed in were clean and comfortable. The kitchens were kitted out with all utensils required.We will be back!!!!

We really enjoyed our 4 day stay, when we got there Yvonne was extremely friendly and helpful our cottage was changed to the stone cottage which we were really delighted to stay in. It was extremely cozy and our working dog had an absolute blast. We enjoyed hiking and exploring with our dog, playing in the natural streams and the river. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and staff very friendly. The water, power and wifi all worked perfectly. The road getting there is abit rugged but we made it perfectly fine in our city slicker. We collected lots of specials rocks on our hikes, we tried to fish in the dam but there is limit stock at the moment and recommend taking a gazebo for shade. On our 1 walk to the spring pools we bumped into 2 rhinkhals so there are definitely snaked to be aware of but if you respect them there is nothing to fear. It was a very lovely peaceful stay for us, thank you Yvonne.

Well all we can say is Wow! If you are a nature lover enjoy peace and tranquility, exquisite scenery, spectacular mountains and shade from the many trees, you have come to the right place.There are a variety of things to do on the farm, and in the surrounding are.It is not a 5 star hotel it is a very comfortable place to relax and enjoy the simple things. Our cottage was perfectly equipped with all the things one needs on this type a gettaway. The linen was crisp and fresh and the bed in our cottage was a king size quality mattress.Perfect for 4x4 adventure holiday a standard sedan can make it in good weather nice and slowly and you get there. Its only 3km of dirt road. We highly recommend this for all nature lovers, and if you need to distress and get away from it all. There is no better place.

Amazing view, well equipped cottage. Excellent stay! Amazing location in the Maluti range. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Clarens but close enough for a day trip. The owner was really helpful in assisting us with all our queries. The hiking trails are excellent and we really enjoyed it a lot. Our dogs enjoyed the stay more than we did!

We camped in the wild on the farm. Brilliant place to totally go off grid as there is no signal, but your on the border of Lesotho. There are ablutions by the other 5 campsites that do have electricity. Well marked hiking trails and very safe. Don't forget to look up at the millions of stars ✨️ 💙 just needs se fishing and all will be sorted.

Tranquil, beautiful and relaxing. You can hear nature and see the stars. Been back here for the 7th time will be back again. Many birds and we saw the beautiful Secretary bird this time around
