Trash To Go

I called this company on Friday for a quote. Jerry told me $159/hr, minimum 3 hours, called it “the cheapest in town,” and gave a total of $477. I had plenty of other options, but I chose them — and I regret it.On Saturday morning, I messaged him to confirm, and he agreed to take the job for my Sunday move. At no point did he explain what services were included, what equipment they use, or what kind of truck they bring — something every real moving company states upfront. That should’ve been my first red flag. The second red flag came before they even arrived: Jerry repeatedly asked which bank I use and how I planned to pay. I told him I use all major banks, but he kept pushing the question. It was unnecessary and strange. The third red flag was the equipment. He showed up in a Ford pickup pulling a small open utility trailer made of wood and metal wire gates — the kind used for junk removal, not moving. It was already filled with snow shovels and work tools. My bed had to be placed on top of those tools, some items didn’t fit, and things fell off when the gate opened. Honestly, a U‑Haul and a couple of helpers would’ve been better. While they were unloading , Jerry added travel‑time fees and kept counting down the minutes. I told him your quote since Friday ddnt mention anything so I dont agreed his response " you are supposed to know, " . A mover even heard him shouting on speaker and said, “We’re almost done.” When he raised his voice at me, I told him he is being disrespectful, unprofessional would hang up — and I did.The contracted movers worked hard, but the company was dishonest, unprepared, and unprofessional.I absolutely DO NOT recommend this company to anyone.
